Florida statement after james had a chance at a higher paying job. Shouldn;t have been Goodbye Oatmeal, Hello Bacon, Eggs, and Hotcakes"?-lol

I thought that was a very funny line. I liked it just as much as when he would bring up Kool-Aid. Cream of Wheat is not that good, so I would want bacon and eggs and hotcakes too.

It was a funny line the the way she delivered it, but I agree with you. Bacon and eggs is much more fancy than cream of wheat.

Y'all are forgetting one VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL....Cream of Wheat had a BLACK MAN on the box... that's what made it better than bacon and eggs.:lol: :D

Yes, but Aunt Jemima pancakes and Mrs. Butterworth syrup were also black, so they could've gone in that direction as well. ;)

did Aunt Jemima have the pancake mixes in the 70's I thought that was later. I know they had the waffle mixes so maybe they did.
