Scene 1- Jefferson High School

It is Friday afternoon and Charles Alan 'Chachi' Tracy is busy drawing something on a piece of paper while his Algera teacher Mrs Garrett is talking to the class along with Gina Delvecchio and Joanie Kyrano.

MRS. GARRETT: So, Class, we all know that A squared plus B squared equals…
STUDENTS: C squared.
MRS. GARRETT: That's right but what happens when we bring in Leonardo DiVinci's E, F and… (notices what Chachi is doing) Charles?
GINA: Chach…Chach!
MRS. GARRETT: How kind of you to come back from outer space, Charles. I trust reentry wasn't too rough.

The other students laugh.

MRS. GARRETT: Here on Earth we've been discussing the Pythagorean Theorem. Did any of that happen to sink in?
CHACHI: I was just -
MRS. GARRETT: Apparently not. (takes Chachi's piece of parer and reads it) Fonziebirds are go. Well I hope you're not going anywhere special over spring break, Charles because I expect a 10,000 word paper on my desk the day you get back. (puts the drawing back on the desk) That should keep you busy.

Scene 2- Outside the classroom. Chachi, Joanie and Gina are getting things from their lockers.

CHACHI: (does a bad impersionation of Mrs. Garrett) That should keep you busy. Yeah, well you can take your 10,000 words and stick them right up your -
JOANIE: (slams Chachi against his locker) Chach!
CHACHI: Prinicpal Skinner.
PRINICIPAL SKINNER: Mr. Tracy.
CHACHI: Mrs. Garrett.
JOANIE: Gotta be more careful, Chach.
CHACHI: Why can't I just tell them I'm a Fonziebird, Gina?
GINA: Because technically you’re not a Fonziebird yet. And if your identity were to be discovered, it could be really bad.
CHACHI: (as an excited kid comes up to him and the girls) I know. I know.
EXCITED KID: It's the Fonziebirds! They're gonna be on TV! Let's go, they're gonna be on TV!
CHACHI: (grabs the excited kid) Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where are they?
EXCITED KID: They're in Russia at an oil rig fire!
CHACHI: Great, I'm stuck at school and my brothers are on another cool mission.
GINA: Wanna watch?
CHACHI: Yeah.

On the Common room TV, we see TV anchorwoman Lisa Lowe doing a report on the latest Fonziebirds rescue mission.

LISA LOWE: We are told that the super rig is in danger of total collapse and there is real concern for the lives of six men who remain trapped on board. An emergency call went out to the Fonziebirds just a few minutes ago. They should be here any moment now. And here they are!
STUDENTS: (cheering) Yeah!
POTSIE: (from Fonziebird 1) Fonziebird 2, this is Fonziebird 1. I've got visual: south column. They're trapped on an inspection platform.
HOWARD: (from Fonziebird 2) F.O.N.Z. We'll take it from here.
WORKER: Come on! Come on!
HOWARD: Potsie, get out of there, that tower's coming down.
POTSIE: Got it.
STUDENTS: Whoa.
HOWARD: Fonziebird 1, any damage?
POTSIE: Negative, Dad.
CHACHI: (murmuring) Come on, come on. You can't get close enough taking that approach angle.
HOWARD: Approach angle's no good. We're gonna have to swing her around.
POTSIE: Watch the windshield, Fonziebird 2.
HOWARD: Warren, I was watching the windshield when you were still wearing diapers.
CHACHI: Come on, Dad.

A blast is heard from nearby.

HOWARD: Whoa, hold on.
POTSIE: Who needs the diapers now, Dad?
JOANIE: What'll they do now?
GINA: Probably drop the rescue platform from Fonziebird 2.
RALPH: Open it up. Here we go! Rescue platform's on its way.

A underdoor on Fonziebird 2 opens and the Rescue Platform appears.

HOWARD: Ralph, how's it going?
RALPH: It's looking good, Dad.
WORKER: Come on, Sal!
RALPH: Ah, okay, I've got a visual. Hold it there. Targets locked. Firing rescue lines. Come on, Guys, hook 'em up. We're gonna get you outta here.
Worker: Hoist away!
HOWARD: Right, lets haul them out of there.
GINA: Come on, say reverse thrust.
HOWARD: Okay, lets bring them home.
WORKER: Look out!
CHACHI: Okay, gotta get 'em out fast, the rig's gonna blow.
WORKER: Hang on!
STUDENTS: Whoa.
HOWARD: Whoa, sorry, boys, hold on tight, here we go.
CHACHI: Come on, Ralph.
RALPH: Hold on, guys.
HOWARD: How you doing, son?
RALPH: Never better.
HOWARD: Fonziebird 1, commence knockdown procedure.
POTSIE: F.O.N.Z, Fonziebird 2. Locking on target. Fire. Yee-haw! (fires a missle to the danger zone)
HOWARD: Bull's eye. Outstanding shot.

Potsie laughs.

HOWARD: Alright, boys, let's take these birds home.
LISA LOWE: As you can see the fire has been extinguished. The rocket fired form Fonziebird 1 has robbed it of the oxygen it need to burn. Amazing. The Fonziebirds have done it again, Chuck.
STUDENTS: Yeah!
CHUCK: An environmental tragedy. That's great work, Lisa. Thanks a lot.
KNOW-ALL-KID: Ooo, I wish I could be a Thunderbird one day. Thunder-turd.
STUDENTS: Ooo.
CHACHI: That's another good one, Diaper-boy.

All students laugh until Principal Skinner shows up.

PRINICPAL SKINNER: Tracy! Someone here for you.

Laura Elizabeth 'Lori Beth' Allen arrives wearing a pink cardigan sweater, a striped roll neck, a brown skirt, a striped scarf and brown high heels

LORI BETH: Hey, gang. Lori Beth Creighton-Ward at your service. (to Chachi) Chachi honey, your dad's been unexpectedly detained and has asked me to pick you up. Is that okay?
GINA: Sure beats the bus.
CHACHI: Yeah.
LORI BETH: Great and I think I'll take Joanie and Gina with me too.

Scene 3- Outside Jefferson High. Chachi, Lori Beth and the girls are walking towards Lori Beth's pink 1954 cadillac, FONZ1.

CHACHI: Lori Beth, are you on a mission from my dad?
LORI BETH: Chachi, please. I'm an undercover agent so please try to be discrete. Here we are.
GINA AND JOANIE: Hi, Tom.
TOM: Hey, you girls. (shakes hands with Joane first then Gina)
GINA: (still feeling Tom's grip) Ow.
CHACHI: Hi, Nosey.
TOM: Less of that attitude or I'll be obliged to deliver the Paker Haymaker.
CHACHI: Okay, bring it on, big guy.

As soon as the are in FONZ1, Tom starts driving but a bit slowly as how there are students in the way.

LORI BETH: Try not to run over any kids, Tom.
TOM: Okay, Lori.
LORI BETH: Step on it, Tom.

Tom starts the car but a bit faster and sets a course for Tracy Island.

CHACHI: Whoa, alright.
JOANIE: Whoa!
GINA: Yes!
GINA, CHACHI & JOANIE: Yeah.

Scene 5- Inside FONZ1. Chachi, Joanie and Gina are looking out the windows and Lori Beth is reading a teen magazine.

LORI BETH: Oh, look, Tom, pink's the new black this season.
TOM: Glad to hear it, Lori.
LORI BETH: And hemlines are going up.
TOM: That's good news, Lori.
LORI BETH: Oh and apparently, Green Bay won the baseball match last month.
TOM: (letting go of the controls) Go, Green Bay!
LORI BETH: Calm down, Tom.
TOM: Okay and I'm real sorry, Lori.

Later at the Hospital in San Fransisco, California, a family is getting out of the car.
MOTHER: Come on, get down. Wait until your Father hears about this. Pan-head. (sees the Fonziebirds) Aliens!
PAN-HEAD: Even better! It’'s the Fonziebirds!
RALPH: Okay, lock it up. Lets go, lets move it. Hey, we need some help over here.
HOWARD: Mission complete. Fonziebird 1, we are good to go.
POTSIE: F.O.N.Z.

As one of the workers takes his hat off, he reveals himself as Eugene, a henchman for the Candy Man so he fires a traking device on Fonziebird 1's nosecone and talks into his walkie talkie.

EUGENE: Tracking device activated.
THE HOOD: Ah, the chariots of the Gods. Having dallied with the mortals, they return to Olympus…and so I follow.

Back to FONZ1

TOM: Hey, Lori, we're approachin' Tracy Island. And radar indicates we got company.
LORI BETH: (seeing Potsie letting Fonziebird 1 do a loop de loop): Now that's showing off.
CHACHI: Wish that was me.

Chachi waves at Potsie from FONZ1, Potsie waves at Chachi from Fonziebird 1 and Howard salutes him from Fonziebird 2.

Scene 6- Tracy Island labs. Al is talking to Howard about something and they are walking as they speak.

AL: I'm about to run post flight checks, Mr. Tracy. Anything you want to tell me?
HOWARD: Al, I noticed a build up of vibration on Fonziebird 2 followed by an illumination of the number 5 engine out light.
AL: Okay, Mr. Tracy, I'll check the flight data on the guidance processor.

Chachi and Gina arrive and hug Al and Howard

CHACHI: Dad!
HOWARD: Chachi!
GINA: Uncle Al!

Ralph, Richie and Potsie arrive to see their brother and they all go into the kitchen

RALPH: Hey, Sprout.
POTSIE: Hey, Buddy.
MARION: Dinner's ready, come and get it.
JOANIE: Mom!
HOWARD: Marion, it smells delicious. I'm starved.
CHACHI: So, Dad, I saw the mission on TV. It looked pretty dangerous.
HOWARD: Saving lives is a dangerous business but it's what we do.
CHACHI: Do you think the fire's causing thermal updrafts? I mean that would explain -
HOWARD: Chachi, I wanna hear about school.
CHACHI: School's boring. Plus I've thinking, maybe I can be home educated now that way I could sit on a mission from time to time. What do ya think?
HOWARD: No shortcuts, Charles. No school, no rockets. Say, why aren't you wearing your retainer?
POTSIE: So I'm getting this reading that the wind is blowing 60 knots right up my keester.
RALPH: No kidding.
CHACHI: Did you try readjusting the flaps?
POTSIE: Well, that's the first thing I did, Sprout. It's not my first day on a Fonziebird, ya know.
RICHIE: Try and keep up.
RALPH: Yeah, don't you have homework to do or something?
RICHIE: Not unless he's blown up this school like the last one! (laughs)
POTSIE: Yeah, keep Alan away from the ships, he's a hazard.
HOWARD: Okay, that's enough. Pass the salad.
RALPH: Man, I haven't seen that much fire since that volcano in Fiji.
POTSIE: That wasn't Fiji, that was Istanbul.
RALPH: No, no, Istanbul was the earthquake.
POTSIE: Yeah, well nothing compares to Argentina.
CHACHI: Dad, I'm not really hungry. Come on, Gina, Joanie, let's go.
GINA: No, wait, I'm not done!
JOANIE: Okay.

Scene 7- In Fonziebird 1 hangar. Chachi and Gina are going inside Fonziebird 1 with Joanie.

JOANIE: We're not supposed to go in there. We could get into trouble!
CHACHI: Ah, you girls worry too much.
GINA: Where did you get the access code for Fonziebird 1 anyway?
CHACHI: Gina, what you don't know can't hurt you.

By the pool, Lori Beth is talking to Tom

LORI BETH: [to Tom] Let's get going. [to Howard] It seems the fire at the oil rig was not accident.
HOWARD: Any suspects?
LORI BETH: Not yet but I'll keep you posted.
HOWARD: Thanks for bringing the kids home.
LORI BETH: My pleasure. Any excuse to visit Paradise.
HOWARD: When are Chachi and Joanie gonna get along?
LORI BETH: When Joanie wants to like Chachi. Girls are always far ahead of boys with that sort of thing.
HOWARD: What sort of thing?
LORI BETH: Romance.
HOWARD: Chachi and Joanie? I didn't see that one coming.
LORI BETH: No, you wouldn’t.
HOWARD: Have a safe flight home, Lori Beth.
LORI BETH: Thanks, Mr Tracy.

Back in Fonziebird 1's hangar

CHACHI: Okay, Gina, run preflight checks.
GINA: Right. Hydraulic systems are green.
CHACHI: Commence main engine sequence, Joanie.
JOANE: F.O.N.Z, Chach.
CHACHI: Couldn’t hurt to just fire up the instruments.
GINA: No, wait, Chach! That’s a…wrong switch.

The alarm goes off and the computer starts talking

COMPUTER: Warning, engine sequence breech.
CHACHI: Whoa, uh.
COMPUTER: Warning, engine sequence breech.
CHACHI: Ah, can this day get any worse?
HOWARD: (on screen) Chachi, my office now.
GINA & JOANIE: It just did.
CHACHI: (as he, Joanie and Gina get out of Fonziebird 1) I can’t believe it.
JOANIE: You’re dead. Look at this.
CHACHI: What is it?
GINA: Looks like some sort of gallium electrolyte compound.
CHACHI: Gotta get out of here. (rushes to Howard's office)

Scene 8- Howard's office. Chachi has just arrived

CHACHI: Dad, I know you're mad, I shouldn't have been in the ship but if you just give me a minute to explain something...
HOWARD: Damn right you shouldn't have been in there.
CHACHI: But nothing happened, Dad, I had it under control.
HOWARD: Under control? Do you have any idea the importance of secrecy in our operation? You fired up a Fonziebird without activating the anti-detection shield. You put everyone in danger when you act selfishly. You wanna be part of the team, you have to play by the rules. You understand? Do you?
CHACHI: Yeah, I understand. I understand you don't want me to be a Fonziebird. You don't want me to do anything. You won't even listen to me when I'm trying to tell you something important!
HOWARD: I've heard enough. You're grounded for the rest of spring break.
CHACHI: But, Dad!
HOWARD: Bottom line, Chachi, you need to grow up.
CHACHI: Then let me…please. (storms out of the office)

Later, Howard looks at a photo of him and the boys as kids and a photo of his late wife Marion and the boys as kids. Then, the eyes on Fonzie's portrait flashes.

HOWARD: Hey, Fonzie. Just about to turn in. What can I do for ya?
FONZIE: I could sure use a pizza. Know a place that delivers?
HOWARD: 30 minutes or its free right? Anything else on your mind?
FONZIE: Well, got a forest fire in Vladivostok and a typhoon headed for Signapore. What's happening on Planet Tracy?
HOWARD: Chachi's home for spring break.
FONZIE: Yeah, thought I could see a storm brewing in your region.
HOWARD: Teenagers.
FONZIE: Well, we've all been there. And, Dad, you've done a great job since Mom died.
HOWARD: Thanks, Fonzie. Keep an eye on that typhoon for us and uh, I'll call Vladivostok, see if they need any help with that fire.
FONZIE: F.O.N.Z, Dad, sleep tight.

Scene 8- Al's lab, the next morning. Al is working on an experiment. Gina arrives in here nightclothes.

GINA: Morning, Uncle Al.
AL: Hey, Gina. There’s something I'd like to show you.
GINA: A neural net control system?
AL: It's great to have you back. Bet you didn't think spring break was going to be this fun. Watch this. And the tiny phone lifts up. Perfect.
GINA: Uncle Al?
AL: Nearly.
GINA: There's something I wanted to ask you about, Uncle Al.
AL: Okay. Having a problems with a boy?
GINA: No. Joanie, Chachi and I found some sort of gallium electrolyte compound on the nosecone of Fonziebird 1.
AL: We should check that out immediately.
GINA: That'd be great.

In the Candy Man's submarine.

EUGENE: The island's in sight.
CANDY MAN: Sticky, I need you.

Sticky, a small man, enters.

STICKY: Yes sir. Sir, our cloaking devise has evaded their systems. We've got a positive reading from the tracking solution on Fonziebird 1.
CANDY MAN: Eugene.
EUGENE: Sir. Sir, armed and ready. Shall I target the main structure?
CANDY MAN: Why would I want to destroy what will soon be mine? One of the principle tenets of eastern martial arts is to use your opponents strength against him.
EUGENE: This is stupid.
CANDY MAN: It'd be almost impossible to force the Fonziebirds to leave their island. On the other hand, it requires no effort at all to let them go. The Fonziebirds purpose is to rescue, all we need to do is give them a victim.

The commence is targeting at Fonziebird 5.

STICKY: Straight away, Sir. Target acquisition of Fonziebird 5 is locked.
CANDY MAN: Fire.

Back on Fonziebird 5.

COMPUTER: Red alert.
FONZIE: What the?
COMPUTER: Warning. Impact imminent.
FONZIE: Fonziebird 5 to Tracy Island! Mayday, mayday!!!

Back on Tracy Island.

COMPUTER: Red Alert. Red Alert. Red Alert.
AL: Switching to command and control center.

Howard, Potsie, Ralph and Richie enter.

HOWARD: How bad, Al?
AL: Fonziebird 5 major damage sustained. Possible strike by a meteor.
HOWARD: Fonziebirds are go.

Fonziebird 3 lifts off and inside Fonziebird 3.

HOWARD: Check retros.
RICHIE: Go.
COMPUTER: Guidance systems green.
HOWARD: Go to maximum trust.

Back to the Candy Man's sub.

CANDY MAN: There goes the cavalry. But who'll rescue the rescuers?

Scene 9- Back on Tracy Island. Chachi is sitting on Tracy Island beach with Joanie. Gina runs over to them.

GINA: Chachi! Joanie! Fonziebird 5 has been hit! Fonziebird 5 has been hit! Fonziebird 5 has been hit!
CHACHI: Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Don't panic, don't panic. (sees the Candy Man's sub) On the other hand…
ALL: Run!

The bad guys come out of the sub.

EUGENE: We made land.
CANDY MAN: Cut them off.
STICKY: Activating communication black out.

Back in the control room.

COMPUTER: Warning, intruder alert. Communications failure.
AL: What the hell's going on? Mr. Tracy, do you copy? Fonziebird 3, please respond.

In the hallway.

CHACHI: How'd they find the island? Do you think it's what I did in Fonziebird 1? You think I ruined everything?
GINA: No, that compound we found could have some sort of transmitting capability.
JOANIE: We've gotta do something.
GINA: My Uncle Al's in the control room but how do we get there now?
CHACHI: The vents. Let's go we have to get a message to my Dad.

Back to Fonziebird 5.

COMPUTER: Emergency power at 10 percent.
FONZIE: I'm losing all power. Repeat, I'm losing all power.
HOWARD: (through a speaker) Hold on, Fonzie, we're coming in. Richard, prepare for immediate docking.
RICHIE: You got it, Dad. Reverse main thrusters on my mark: 3…2…1.
HOWARD: Easy, watch the roll.
RALPH: Rolling x-angle minus two degrees.
COMPUTER: Initiate docking sequence.
RICHIE: We're locked on.
HOWARD: Nice work.

Fonziebird 3 hooks onto Fonziebird 5.

COMPUTER: Docking sequence complete.
POTSIE: Tunnel hatch secure.
HOWARD: Emergency packs, boys, let's move.
COMPUTER: Airlock pressure equalized.
HOWARD: We're in, let's go.

Howard, Potsie, Ralph and Richie all enter Fonziebird 5.

HOWARD: Fonzie! Potsie, tackle that fire.
POTSIE: Okay.
FONZIE: Am I glad to see you guys?
HOWARD: Easy, you're hurt. Ralph, take care of your brother. Richard, give me a damage assessment.

In the hallway on Tracy Island.

CHACHI: Come on, Ladies.

Outside the control room.

STICKY: One inch steel plate with sequential titanium locking mechanism.
EUGENE: I love a challenge.

Back to the hall.

GINA: Watch out for the guards.
CHACHI: Get in, get in.

They all go into the vents and Eugene grabs Al.

AL: What's going on?
CANDY MAN: So this is Mount Olympus. And these are the Fonziebirds. I should have guessed. Howard Jefferson Tracy, billionaire ex-astronaut, of course. Isn't he the one who lost his wife in an accident. Avalanche, was it? How tragic.

Back to the vents.

CHACHI: Just keep going straight ahead.
GINA: Okay.

Back to the conrtol room.

STICKY: Professor Delvecchio? We met at last year's conference on nano-technology. I thought your thesis on neutrinos was extremely stimulating,
CANDY MAN: Sticky, concentrate.
STICKY: Sorry, Sir. The command control switch is here. Finger print recognition system.
CANDY MAN: Professor please activate the control switch.
AL: You must be kidding.
CANDY MAN: Professor, you and I share an interest in the science of the mind. The only difference is I was born with my powers. Trust me when I tell you, you've only touched the surface. Even the strongest minds can be broken. It'd be a pity to brake yours.
AL: Fat chance.
CANDY MAN: Activate the control switch, Prof. (hypnotises Al and Al does as he is told) Like a puppet on a string.

Eugene laughs.

AL: Aww.
COMPUTER: Activating command and control. Activating command and control.
STICKY: We have control
EUGENE: Get up.
STICKY: Sorry, Professor. Nothing personal.

Back on Fonziebird 5.

POTSIE: We've got a caution warning light on our EBS system.
HOWARD: Attempt manual override.
POTSIE: No! That's negative!

Back in the vents on Tracy Island.

CHACHI: That's it.
GINA: Okay, this one.

Back on Fonziebird 5.

HOWARD: Back to Fonziebird 3 now. Fonzie, gotta move.
FONZIE: Ahh.
RICHIE: (trying to open the door) The locking mechanism's jammed.
CANDY MAN: (through the speaker) Attention Fonziebird 5. As you can see, I've taken over your facilities. You no longer control your operation systems.

Back to Tracy Island.

CHACHI: They've taken over.
CANDY MAN: Warm them up, Sticky.
STICKY: Increasing temperature to maximum.
ALAN: Who's the fat guy?

A guard enters with Marion.

MARION: You? (is hypnotised by the Candy Man) Ehh…
JOANIE: Mom?
GINA: They've got…my uncle.
HOWARD: Okay, you have our attention. Who are you? What do you want?
CANDY MAN: Oh, how rude of me. You can call me…The Candy Man. Now, listen, Mr. Tracy. We won't be negotiating. I'm going to use the Fonziebirds to rob the largest banks in the world starting with the bank of Milwaukee. The world's monetary system will turn into chaos and the Fonziebirds will be held responsible.
POTSIE: You'll never get away with it!
HOWARD: Why the Fonziebirds?
CANDY MAN: An eye for an eye, Mr. Tracy.
HOWARD: An eye for an eye?
CANDY MAN: Perhaps you've forgotten me but surely you remember saving the life of my sister Marion?

Joanie gasps at what the Candy Man said.

MARION: I'm sorry, Mr. Tracy. I thought he was dead.
CANDY MAN: (laughs evilly) Take them away.
EUGENE: Yes, Sir.
CHACHI: Whoa.
JOANIE: That makes the Candy Man my uncle?
GINA: Every family has a black sheep. [sneezes]

Al coughs.

GINA: This has murdered my allergies.
CANDY MAN: You left me to die that day. You may have broken my body but you've got no idea how powerful my mind has become. Now you'll suffer the way I did, waiting for a rescue that'll never come.

[Race's Girl]

Scene 10- Back on Fonziebird 5. Howard and the boys are still trapped.

HOWARD: Wait! Potsie, status report.
POTSIE: CO2 levels are rising.
HOWARD: Alright, wire the oxygen to the starboard batteries, clean the air.
RALPH: How long will that give us?
FONZIE: About four hours.

Back on Tracy Island.

In the vent, Gina sneezes

EUGENE: Someone’s there.
GINA: Ahhh. Uhhh, ahh.

The kids scream and Eugene punches the wall and grabs Chachi's ankle. Joanie bites his hand and Eugene screams.

JOANIE: Run! Run!
CHACHI: No, jump! We can get through to the silos.

The kids go through the silos and scream.

CANDY MAN: Apparently the island is not as secure as you thought. (looks at the photos on Howard's desk) Children. Did you find any children?
STICKY: Here they are, Fonziebird 2 silo in the loading arm.
CANDY MAN: Seal them in.

In Fonziebird 2's silo.

CHACHI: Hold on!
JOANIE: Whoa!
CHACHI: Whoa!
JOANIE: The doors! Come on, you guys, let's go. Come on, go!
CHACHI: This way.
GINA: (as the doors close) No!
JOANIE: They've got us trapped. What do we do now?
GINA: If we can get into Fonziebird 1's silo, we can escape through the service tunnel. But we need a plan, Chach.
CHACHI: I'll use the Thunderizer on the door.
COMPUTER: Elevator active.
CHACHI: You guys get the goons with the firefly.
GINA: Chach! This equipment's only to be used in an emergency, I guess this qualifies.
CHACHI: Yeah.
GINA: Ay carumba.

Both Gina and Joanie hop into the Firefly as Chachi goes into the Thunderizer.

JOANIE: Here they come! Gina, can you drive this thing?
GINA: Not really. (starts driving) Whoa.
JOANIE: Hey, watch it!
GINA: I took microbiology, not driver's ed. Set the pressure to maximum.
JOANIE: (does as Gina told her to do) Got it.
EUGENE: Run!

The guards run like hell with Eugene in front of them.

JOANIE: Woo! Let's move it!
CHACHI: That's it. Time to Thunderize! (shoots lightning towards Fonziebird 1) Yes.
GOONS: (as they are squirted with foam) Ahh.
CHACHI: Come on, let's go! Where's Gina?
GOONS: Ahh.
JOANIE & CHACHI: Gina!
GINA: (comes out of the Firefly) Coming!
CHACHI: Hurry up.
GOONS: Ahh.
CHACHI: What were you doing back there, Gina?
GINA: I had an idea.
CHACHI: Just try and keep up, okay. I'll open the tunnel. Gotta keep moving. (trys the password)
COMPUTER: Access denied.
CHACHI: Go back, yell when you see them coming. (trys the password again)
COMPUTER: Access denied.

Chachi turns around and sees the Candy Man.

CANDY MAN: Charles, you can run if you want. Were you surprised to hear what your Father did to me? It is frightening when we realize our parents aren't perfect. But I suspect you already suspected that about your Father. Why did he build these magnificent machines? Do you suppose it was guilt because he let your mother die.

Chachi shakes his head.

CANDY MAN: Open the door, Charles.

Chachi shakes his head again.

CANDY MAN: Ah, Open-The-Door. (tries to hypnotise Chachi)
CHACHI: We can't go this way! He's there.
GINA: No! Ow. Ah, what are we gonna do, Chach?!
CHACHI: I don't know! I'm thinking, okay! Keep backing up, I've got an idea.

The Candy Man laughs as Chachi holds up a spinner thing.

JOANIE: That's your idea?
CANDY MAN: It's not me you're angry at, Charles.
CHACHI: It's not you I'm aiming at.

Chachi throws a wheel at the machine behind the Candy Man and the kids run.

CANDY MAN: Get them!
EUGENE: Sticky, fire up Fonziebird 1 and set to broil.

The kids are screaming.

STICKY: No sign of them.
EUGENE: No, the little brats went up like firecrackers! (laughs)
CANDY MAN: Don't give him the satisfaction, Sticky. This has taken too long. Get whatever equipment you need to get into those banks and load it into Fonziebird 2. No more delays.
STICKY: Yes, Sir.

Scene 11- Outside the villa. Chachi, Joanie and Gina are coming out of the water.

GINA: (coughs) How about a little warning before you pull a stunt like that!
CHACHI: Relax, Gina, it's just a little water.
GINA: I could've drowned.
CHACHI: You mean you can't swim?
GINA: I repeat, I could have drowned.
CHACHI: I said I was sorry, Gina. Lets put this behind us, okay? Gotta watch each other's backs.
GINA: Thanks.
JOANIE: (from behind Chachi) Boo!
GINA: Ahhh!
CHACHI: No, Gina, come on. Joanie, stay there.
JOANIE: You're worse than a couple of girls. (laughs)
GINA: Data from Tracy Island is sent via satellite, right?
CHACHI: Right.
GINA: So there's a miniscule possibility that if we reach the island's satellite station, we could-
CHACHI: Blow it up?
GINA: No, we can hack into it and give control back to Fonziebird 5.
CHACHI: Good thinking, Gina.
GINA: Thanks.
CHACHI: Okay, let's do it.
GINA: Whoa.
CHACHI: Here's the plan. We're here, right? So we go along the shore around the base of the mountain to the access road here and then up to the transmitter. So what do you think?
JOANIE: Good, expect that we're here, not there and the transmitter's there, not here. We have to go through the jungle.
GINA: But that's off limits.
JOANIE: It's gonna be dangerous.
CHACHI: I'm in. We gotta get there fast. All our folks are in trouble and if the Candy Man gets off the island -
GINA: Actually he's not going anywhere for now. (pulls the guidance processor for Fonziebird 2 out of her blouse pocket)
CHACHI: This is the guidance processor for Fonziebird 2. It can't take off without it. Gina, you're a genius! How did you get this?
GINA: Chach, what you don't know can't hurt you.

Scene 12- Lori Beth's mansion in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lori Beth is in the bathtub and Tom is making a pot of tea for her in the kitchen.

LORI BETH: [through commlink] Tom.
TOM: What's the problemo, Lori?
LORI BETH: We've got an emergency.

There is a knock on the door.

LORI BETH: Come in. (looks at Tom as he arrives) Look at this, Tom. (looks at Eugene's profile) He and this guy (discovers Sticky's profile) both work for this man known as the Candy Man. (discovers the Candy Man's profile)
TOM: Sounds like an alias to me, Lori.
LORI BETH: That's right, Tom. Real name Anthony Belagant. Assume dead when he and his illegal diamond mine collapsed in the jungles of Milwaukee, Tom. The Fonziebirds rescued over 500 mine workers in the collapse including Mr. Belagant's sister. (discovers Marion's profile)
TOM: Lori, that's Mr. Tracy's loyal servant, Marion Kyrano.
LORI BETH: How's my schedule for today, Tom?
TOM: You've got clay pigeon shooting with Brad Marlboro, a benefit gala for the Institute for the Blind and incidentally, there's a typhoon bearing down on Singapore.
LORI BETH: I suppose that's urgent.
TOM: Yeah, Lori. There was also a bridge collapsed in Buenos Aires and a volcanic eruption in Jakarta.
LORI BETH: The Fonziebirds still haven't responded?
TOM: No, Lori and the media's awash with speculation vis-à-vis their whereabouts.
CHUCK: (on the monitor) Over to Lisa Lowe.

Scene 13- Tracy Island. In the jungle, Chachi, Joanie and Gina are walking.

CHACHI: Ah, I'm telling you Fermat, it-it was like the Candy Man was inside my head back there.
GINA: What do you mean, Chach?
CHACHI: Maybe he can read minds or control minds or something.
GINA: Don't be silly, Chach. Everything can be explained by science.
CHACHI: I'm just try to figure out his weakness. Everybody has an Achilles heel right?
GINA: Well, my Achilles heel is actually my Achilles heel. It’s got a blister the size of a basketball. (to Joanie) Joans, can we stop?
JOANIE: No!
GINA: Okay! Ahh.
CHACHI: No more cheeseburgers for you, Gina.
GINA: Ah, oh.

Back at Lori Beth's mansion. Lori Beth is behind a screen getting dressed.

LORI BETH: Any word?
PARKER: Nothin', Lori!
LORI BETH: Right. You'll have to tell Brad that I've broken my shooting arm, we'll send the Institute for the Blind a dozen guide dogs and bring the car around.
TOM: Okay, Lori.

Lori Beth comes out of the screen wearing a pink dress with a matching jacket.

LORI BETH: The Fonziebirds are in trouble and I don't like that. Let's go, Tom.

Back at Tracy Island. The Candy Man, Sticky and Eugene are in Fonziebird 2 ready to go to Milwaukee.

EUGENE: Ready for launch. We'll use this to break into the vaults.
CANDY MAN: Subtle as usual, Eugene.
EUGENE: I didn't realize we'd be getting points on style. We're robbing banks remember.
CANDY MAN: Don't worry, you'll get your money.
EUGENE: Sticky, initiate preflight diagnostics. What's going on?
COMPUTER: Guidance processor error.
STICKY: It's the guidance processor.
CANDY MAN: What's wrong with it?
STICKY: There isn't one.
CANDY MAN: Clever Charles. It's those teenagers, they've got it.
EUGENE: Fat chance, they're dead. No one could live through something like that.
CANDY MAN: I did. Get them, Eugene, take whatever you need and make sure you get the guidance processor before you loose your temper.

Eugene does as he is told.

Meanwhile, back in the Tracy Island jungle.

GINA: Chachi, don't you think Joanie's really blossoming?
CHACHI: Blossoming?! What’s that supposed to mean?!
GINA: Come on, Chach, you've got a crush on her.
CHACHI: You gotta be kidding me, I mean she's not that bad, I guess.
JOANIE: Okay, guys, take five!
GINA: Five isn't gonna do it.
JOANIE: Guys?
GINA: (noticing a scorpian on Chachi's left shoulder) Ewwwwwww.
JOANIE: Don't move.
CHACHI: What is it?
JOANIE: Androctonus scorpion.
CHACHI: Is that dangerous?
GINA: Point zero two five milligrams of its venom is fatal.
CHACHI: So 'dangerous' is, in fact, an understatement.
GINA: Watch out!

The scorpian gets ready to inject Chachi with it's venom until Joanie's eyes start glowing and the scorpian flies off his shoulder.

CHACHI: Joanie, what was that?
JOANIE: Let's get going.
CHACHI: (to Gina) Hey! She's got the same powers as her uncle, the Candy Man.
GINA: You think?
CHACHI: Must run in the family. (to Joanie) Did you do that?!
JOANIE: Just drop it, okay!
CHACHI: (to Gina) Still, think everything can be explained by science?
GINA: Not guys!

Scene 14- Fonziebird 5. Richie and Potsie are trying to repair Fonziebird 5 but a blast sends them flying backwards.

RICHIE & POTSIE: Whoa!
HOWARD: Potsie! Richard! You alright?
RICHIE: We're okay.
POTSIE: The heat exchange has blown. (coughs)
HOWARD: You don't say?

Back on Tracy Island. Eugene and two guards are walking through the jungle to find the kids.

EUGENE: Come on! Those brats are in here somewhere.

Back to the kids. They are on the the island's satellite station trying to contact Fonziebird 5.

CHACHI: How we doing, Gina?
GINA: Don't rush me, Chach, this is a really delicate equipment which is now broken.
CHACHI: Can you fix it?
GINA: Yeah but I'll need something to solder with.
CHACHI: We're in the middle of nowhere, Gina, where you gonna find something like that? (notices the girls looking at him) What? (sees Gina with a clipper and feels her cut a piece of his reatiner out) Ahhh!!! Ow! Ah!
GINA: Perfect.
GINA: Wow, Chach, I never would have figured you for a crybaby.
CHACHI: (stounding like he has a toothache) Awa gwonya hill hu.
GINA: What'd he say?
JOANIE: I think it was some sort of apology.
GINA: I got it. Yes. (to herself) Good going, Gina. Okay. Okay, first, we have to establish contact with Fonziebird 5.

Gina finally gets in touch with Fonziebird 5 and Howard comes up on the screen.

CHACHI: Dad! Dad!
FONZIE: It's Chach!
HOWARD: Chachi, where are you? Are you safe?
CHACHI: I'm at the satellite relay station with Gina and Joanie. Gina's gonna hack into the main computer system to give control of Fonziebird 5 you back to you.
HOWARD: We're standing by.
GINA: Okay, we're almost there.

In the lab. Al is tied a board and Sticky is smirking at him until the Candy Man arrives.

STICKY: A burst of transmission from the island's satellite station. Should I jam it?
CANDY MAN: And give Eugene the coordinates.
STICKY: Take the main track south east and head up satellite hill.

Back on the the island's satellite station.

GINA: (notices the bad guys are onto them) They're on to us, we're being jammed.
CHACHI: Can you finish?
GINA: I'll try.
HOWARD: (as a statical error comes on) Chachi, what's happening?
CHACHI: Hang on, Dad, one more minute, okay?
GINA: It's not gonna work, Chach, the signals too weak for data transmission.
CHACHI: Dad, can you hear me? They're jamming the signal, we're gonna lose you. Don't worry, I'll take care of everything, okay?!
HOWARD: That's a negative, it's too dangerous. Follow emergency procedures. Wait for Lori Beth at the rendezvous point. Chachi, can you read me? Chachi, we're losing you!
CHACHI: Dad!
HOWARD: Chachi!
CHACHI: (as the connection with Howard and Chachi is cut off) Dad!

Both Chachi and Gina breathe heavilly.

GINA: No!
CHACHI: Useless!
GINA: It is now.
JOANIE: Sorry, Chach, this is hard on all of us.
CHACHI: No, it's okay, I'm fine.
GINA: You don't have to be such a tough guy, Chach. I'm worried about my Uncle Al too.
JOANIE: I'd do anything to be with my mom right now.
CHACHI: The Candy Man knows we're alive now. We gotta go.
GINA: (sees the bad guys behind them) Even worse they know exactly … where we are!
EUGENE: Come on.

The kids scream until they run towards the river.

GINA: Oh great, more water.
CHACHI: Joanie, can you slow them down?
JOANIE: Sure.
CHACHI: Then do it and meet us at the junkyard. Come on, Gina.

By now, the bad guys are following them.

EUGENE: There. Come on.

There is now a buzzing noise.

EUGENE: Straight ahead. (screams like a girl)
GINA: It's gonna make this thing hard to control, ya know.
CHACHI: No problem.
GINA: You really must be careful not to exceed four bars of boost or else, well there might be a-
CHACHI: (interupting) I said 'No problem.'

Joanie has just arrived.

JOANIE: Guys, let's go. We gotta get out of here. (notices something under a rock) What's this?
GINA: It's a hover sled.
CHACHI: It's our ticket out of here unless you've got a better idea.
JOANIE: Yeah, let's wait for Lori Beth like your Dad said.
GINA: Here.
CHACHI: (sarcasticly) Great plan, let's sit here and wait to get caught. I say we have to do something. Now. Right, Gina?
GINA: Actually, I agree with Joanie. I don't think that this thing's safe.
CHACHI: You don't think that anything's safe. Do you girls want to sit here and take a vote or do you wanna get out of here? Cause I'm going.

As Chachi gets the Hover Sled out, he, Joanie and Gina all hop onto it and it takes off.

JOANIE: You can be a real jerk sometimes.
GINA: Whoa. Ahh.
EUGENE: (spotting the kids) Go. Go!
JOANIE: (as the sled goes faster) Whoa. Ahh. Oh no!
EUGENE: Come on, faster!
GINA: Chach, you're going to fast!!! Whoa.
CHACHI: I need more speed to get above the trees! Hang on!

Joanie and Gina scream as the guards with Eugene grab them.

CHACHI: What I’d tell you guys?! (notices that the girls are gone) Oh, no.

Scene 15- Inside the villa. The girls are being to the fridge where Al and Marion are.

GINA: Ahh, ah.
JOANIE: What are you guys doing?!
GINA: Oh, no! Not the fridge!

The girls are pushed inside it.

MARION: Joanie.
AL: Gina.
MARION: Dear, are you okay?
JOANIE: I'm fine, Mom.
EUGENE: Cool off, kid! (laughs)

Later, FONZ1 approaches Tracy Island.

TOM: Tracy Island approachin', Lori. Switchin' to aqua mode.
LORI BETH: Isn't life fun sometimes?
TOM: Yeah, Lori.

Back in the lab, Sticky indetifies FONZ1 heading towards the Island and the Candy Man arrives.

CANDY MAN: What is it?
STICKY: We've got an unidentified craft approaching the island at high speed.

Back in the jungle, Chachi notices FONZ1 heading towards the island and notices that Lori Beth and Tom have arrived.

CHACHI: Lori Beth.

Back on Fonziebird 5.

HOWARD: Oh God! Somebody roll down a window, it's a little hot in here.
RALPH: (opening the oxygen tank) Re-entry into Earth's atmosphere in 37 minutes.
POTSIE: Oxygen's out in 30 so we won't feel a thing.
HOWARD: Stop it!
RICHIE: Come on, Dad. The situation's hopeless.
HOWARD: No, it's not, there's still time. We've got people on the ground working for us.
RICHIE: Chachi?! He's just a kid!
HOWARD: He's a Tracy.

[Race's Girl]

Scene 16- Tracy Island. Lori Beth, who is wearing an orange roll neck sweater with a scarf around her neck, blue jeans and black knee high boots, and Tom are walking to the villa.

LORI BETH: This doesn't look good, Tom. That Bourgonvillia's absolutely parched and someone should do something about that hideous hammock.

By now, the Candy Man, Sticky and Eugene have shown up in front of them.

CANDY MAN: Whom do we have here? Eugene.
MULLION: (pretending to be Bruce Lee) I must warn you, I know Judo, Tri-Magna, and Tae Kwon Do.
LORI BETH: And I know Tom.
TOME: Allow me, Lori. (punches Eugene on the nose)
EUGENE: You've broken my nose.
TOM: Yeah, that was the intention of the maneuver.
STICKY: (advances on Lori Beth) Wow!
LORI BETH: (kicking Sticky's butt) I try so hard in life to work things out on an intellectual/conversational level. But sometimes its just…not…possible.
STICKY: Oh! Ow!
EUGENE: Ah! Ugh. Wha!
TOM: (after Eugene has kicked his butt) D'ya want me to bring the car around, Lori?
LORI BETH: Tom, lie down for a bit.
TOM: Excuse me, Lori.
EUGENE: (still getting his butt kicked by Tom) Egh. Rah!
STICKY: (still getting his butt kicked by Lori Beth) Whoa!
TOM: Ah!
EUGENE: Ah!
STICKY: Ow. Oh.
CANDY MAN: (noticing Lori Beth) Ah, Laura Elizabeth. Of course he's got his palace, why not his princess?
LORI BETH: (crossly) Flattery'll get you nowhere.
STICKY: (still feeling embarrassed since he's getting his butt kicked by a girl) Whoa. (grabs one of Lori Beth's hands)
LORI BETH: Ow! Do you know what a manicure costs these days?
STICKY: Ow!
TOM: (after kicking Eugene's butt a bit) Ha ha!
EUGENE: Ah! Ugh!
STICKY: (from behind Lori Beth) Boo!
TOM: (charging towards Eugene) Rahh! (puts Eugene over his shoulder and charges near Lori Beth and Sticky) Comin' through, Lori!
EUGENE: Ah!
STICKY: Ow!
STICKY & EUGENE: Wow!
TOM: (about to throw Eugene) Duck, Lori.
CHACHI: (to himself) He's weak. Using his power makes him weak.
EUGENE: Rah!
STICKY: Whoa!
CANDY MAN: You're a formidable opponent, Laura Elizabeth. More than a match for most men.
LORI BETH: That's not saying much then, is it. (kicking Sticky's butt) Ha ha!
STICKY: Ah!
CANDY MAN: I suggestment pass.
LORI BETH: Don't try your parlor games on me, Pal. You've committed a serious crime trespassing on this island and in about…(looks at Tom's watch) 4 seconds, I going to get quite cross with you. Ha ha! (raises her left foot but the Candy Man stops it) Huh?
CANDY MAN: (knowing Chachi's still out there) How are you, Charles?
LORI BETH & TOM: (getting their minds screwed with by the Candy Man) Oh! Ah!
CANDY MAN: I hope you don't think I’m going to chase you.
LORI BETH & TOM: Oh! Ah!
CANDY MAN: You can make it stop, Charles!
LORI BETH & TOM: Oh! Ah!
CANY MAN: You've got something that belongs to me.
TOM: Don't mind me. This ain't the first time my head's been pulverized and it ain't done any real harm before.
LORI BETH & TOM: Oh! Ah!
CHACHI: Stop! Stop! I'll give it to you! (throws the guidance processor for Fonziebird 2 to the Candy Man) Fetch!
CANDY MAN: You made a match of it, Charles, I'll give you that. (to Sticky as he grabs Chachi and Eugene as he grabs Lori Beth and Tom) Put them with the others.
EUGENE: (to Chachi) You're comin' with me.
LORI BETH: Put me down, this sweater's a French knit!

Back on Fonzebird 5. Howard is trying to wake Fonzie up.

HOWARD: Don't go to sleep. Fonzie! Look at me. Keep your eyes open.

Scene 17- Tracy Island. The gang are in the fridge. Sticky is dragging Chachi in while Eugene is carrying Tom and Lori Beth.

EUGENE: You need to cool off, Lady. (leaves with Sticky)
JOANIE: Lori Beth!
LORI BETH: Lousy jerk! Okay, that's enough losing for one day.
CHACHI: So, how does it feel to be right all the time?
GINA: Not bad, actually.
CHACHI: I'm sorry, Gina.
GINA: We make quite a pair. It's hard for me to talk, it's hard for you to listen.
LORI BETH: Tom, I've got an idea.
TOM: Great goin', Lori.

With that, Tom walks over to a corner and then, Lori Beth kicks one of her boots off and it flies towards an icicle cutting Tom's hands free and then, Tom unties the others.

LORI BETH: Al, how long have the others got?
AL: I can't think, I'm too cold.

Meanwhile in Fonziebird 2, the bad guys are getting ready to go to Milwaukee.

COMPUTER: Guidance processor installed.
STICKY: The guidance processor's been installed.
COMPUTER: Engine sequence completed.
STICKY: Fonziebird 2's ready for take off.
COMPUTER: Begin launch sequence.
CANDY MAN: What's our ETA?
EUGENE: Under an hour. Bank of Milwaukee, here we come.
COMPUTER: Fonziebird 2 preparing for take off.

Fonziebird 2 takes off at long last.

Meanwhile, in the fridge.

CHACHI: We've got to be quick, the Candy Man's getting away.
TOM: (notices the fridge is frozen shut) This seems to be a straight forward six level mortise, Lori.
LORI BETH: I love it when your checkered past comes in handy, Tom.
TOM: Thanks, Lori. Unfortunately, I might need a piece of wire to access the mechanism.
LORI BETH: (getting her hairpin out) Will this do, Tom?
TOM: Good goin', Lori. (begins to pick the lock and the fridge opens)
GINA: Quick, they're getting away!
CHACHI: Everyone get to the control room.
GINA: Ay carumba.

Later, everyone enters the control room and Chachi looks at both Joanie and Gina.

CHACHI: Get in there quick and save my family, Gina. Then we'll get the Candy Man. Good luck.

Gian tries the password but nothing comes up.

COMPUTER: Access to mainframe denied.
GINA: It looks like they slipped a backdoor key into the access codes.
AL: (walking over to the computer) I'll follow your lead, Gina.
LORI BETH: Fonziebird 5, come in? Fonziebird 5, come in?
CHACHI: How long have they got before reentry?
GINA: 90 seconds and counting. (typing the password again and something comes up at last)
COMPUTER: Access to mainframe confirmed.
GINA: I'm in!
CHACHI: Good job, Gina.
GINA: Okay, I just need someone on their end to confirm the protocol.
AL: Fonziebird 5, come in?
CHACHI: Dad, come on, (to Al) are we coming through?
AL: Mr. Tracy, can you hear me? Come in.
LORI BETH: Fonziebird 5 come in?
CHACHI: Dad, come on.
AL: Mr. Tracy, can you hear me? Come in.
CHACHI: Dad!
AL: Fonziebird 5, come in?
CHACHI: How long have they got?
GINA: 45 seconds until reentry!
AL: (yelling) DAMN IT, HOWARD, WAKE UP!!!
HOWARD: (hoarsely) That's the first time you've ever called me by my first name, Al. Thanks for waking me.
CHACHI: Dad.
HOWARD: Good going, Chachi.
GINA: Mr. Tracy, confirm access protocol.
FONZIE: Confirmed. We are back online.
AL: The gravity's restored. Putting Fonziebird 5 into geostationary orbit immediately.
HOWARD: F.O.N.Z, Al.
COMPUTER: Geostationary orbit established.
HOWARD: Looks like we're good to go.
GINA: Yeah!
CHACHI: Yes! Dad, are you okay?
HOWARD: We're fine. You've still got a job to do. Where's the Candy Man?
AL: He's in Fonziebird 2, Mr. Tracy. He's headed for the bank of Milwaukee.
CHACHI: He's got the mole on board.
FONZIE: Looks like Fonziebird 3 lost a booster, Dad, we'll never get there in time.
CHACHI: Let me go after the Candy Man. He'll destroy everything you've built. Everything the Fonziebirds stand for.
HOWARD: Negative. I'm sorry it's too risky.
CHACHI: I can do this. You know I can. (turns to Joanie and Gina who are glaring at him) What am I saying? We can do this.
HOWARD: (proudly) Okay, Chachi. We'll meet you there. Fonziebirds are go!
CHACHI: F.O.N.Z.

Back on Fonziebird 5.

HOWARD: Okay, boys, we're out of here.

Back on Tracy Island.

JOANIE: Are we really going?
CHACHI: Yup.
JOANIE: Cool.
CHACHI: Ready, Gina?
GINA: I guess.

In Fonziebird 1, Chachi and Gina are at the front and Lori Beth (in an International Resuce flight suit) and Joanie are in the back. Gina is chagring Fonziebird 1 up.

COMPUTER: Engine sequence activated.
GINA: Flight controls are green.
COMPUTER: Anti-detections shields activated.
GINA: Hydraulic systems are good.
CHACHI: Right. Set primary fuel pumps. Main engine start.
LORI BETH: Don't boys just love their toys?
COMPUTER: Engine sequence complete. (the launch sequence starts) Launch sequence initiated. (Fonziebird 1 gets ready to take off) Launch sequence complete.
LORI BETH: And off we go.
CHACHI, JOANIE & GINA: Whoa!

With that, Fonziebird 1 takes off and heads for Milwaukee.

Scene 18- Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Fonziebird 2 is flying over the Phfister Bridge followed by Fonziebird 1.

AL: Fonziebird 1, come in.
CHACHI: Roger, Al.
AL: Situation update: Fonziebird 3's about to initiate separation.
CHACHI & GINA: F.O.N.Z.
LORI BETH: Guys, Fonziebird 2's in final approach to Milwaukee.
CHACHI: I know the Candy Man's weakness, Gina. I can stop him if we get there in time.
GINA: Stand by, we're going to maximum thrust.

Fonziebird 1 goes into maximum thurst towards Milwaukee.

KIDS: Whoa! Yeah!

Back in space, Howard and the boys are going into Fonziebird 3.

HOWARD: Richard, heat 'em up.

Fonziebird 3 sepeartes from Fonziebird 5 and sets a colision course for Milwaukee.

Back in Milwaukee, people are screaming as Fonziebird 2 lands on the ground.

CHUCK: We're getting some reports of an incident in Milwaukee, Wisconsin involving the Fonziebirds. Lisa, are you there?

LISA LOWE: (who is live in Milwaukee) Chuck, I'm here in Phfister Gardens where Fonziebird 2 has made an impromptu landing causing total panic in the city. As far as we know, there has been no emergency call from this area so it is unclear why Fonziebird 2 would be active here at all. (sees the Mole coming out of Fonziebird 2) I don't know if you can see this, Chuck but Fonziebird 2 seems to be unloading some sort of machine.

Inside the Mole.

CANDY MAN: Set a course for the vault.
STICKY: Sir, if we continue on our present course, we'll severe the monorail's subterranean supports. Shall I correct our position?
CANDY MAN: Stay on course.
STICKY: But, Sir, we'll cause a major disaster.
CANDY MAN: No we won't. The Fonziebirds will.

Back inside Fonziebird 1.

LORI BETH: Let's get her down, Guys.
CHACHI: Initiating landing, Gina.
GINA: Right.
COMPUTER: 3 point landing sequence initiated.
CHACHI: Retros to 75. Flaps to 16.
GINA: F.O.N.Z.
COMPUTER: Danger landing sequence error.
GINA: You're going too fast!
CHACHI: Thanks. Retros to 90.
LORI BETH: Textbook, Guys.

Fonziebird 1 lands beside Fonziebird 2.

Back in the Mole.

STICKY: Activating electromagnetic pulse to disable the bank's security systems.
EUGENE: ETA 1 minute.

Back in Fonziebird 1.

LORI BETH: (on her headset as soon as the kids leave) Tom, meet me at the Bank of Milwaukee.

TOM: Sure thing, Lori.

Inside Fonziebird 2 where Joanie, Chachi and Gina are.

CHACHI: The Candy Man's getting away.
JOANIE: (sses the monrail falling in the Milwaukee River) Those people can't hold on much longer.
GINA: What are we gonna do, Chachi?
CHACHI: We're the Fonziebirds, our duty's to save those people. Al, we're going into the action zone.
AL: F.O.N.Z, Fonziebird 2 and good luck.
CHACHI: Al, the monorail's down! Repeat, the monorail's down! I'm going under water in Fonziebird 4.
COMPUTER: Automatic pilot.
CHACHI: (to Gina as he gets ready to go to Fonziebird 4) You have the bridge.
GINA: Me?! Fly alone?!
CHACHI: Gina, the Fonziebirds need you right now. I need you.
GINA: F.O.N.Z, Chach.
COMPUTER: Manual control.

As soon as Fonziebird 2 nears the Milwaukee River, Fonziebird 4 dives into the Milwaukee River.

Back inside Fonziebird 3.

HOWARD: Come in, Al. What's the situation?
AL: The Candy Man's caused a major disaster with the Mole. The monorail's down in the Milwaukee River.
HOWARD: Where's Fonziebird 1?
AL: It's on the ground. The kids are in Fonziebird 2.
HOWARD: F.O.N.Z, we're right behind them.

Scene 19- the Bank of Milwaukee. The bad guys are inside the bank vault.

EUGENE: Look at all this gold.
CANDY MAN: Stay focused, Eugene. 9 more banks to go.

Inside Fonziebird 4 in the Milwaukee River.

CHACHI: Gina, I can see the monorail.
MAN: Help!
CHACHI: Don't panic, guys.
COMPUTER: Extending magnetic claw.
CHACHI: Gina, I'll hold the monorail in place. You can get a line on that stanchion and lift it up.
GINA: I can't get a clear fix on the target. I might hit the passengers.
JOANIE: I'll go and fix it myself.
GINA: What? You mean swim?!
JOANIE: Get me as close as you can.
CHACHI: How are we doing on that lone, Gina?!
GINA: Just look out your window.

Chachi looks out of the window to see Joanie hooking a wire to the monorail.

CHACHI: Come on, Joanie, you can do this. Opening the airlock.
COMPUTER: Contact magnets activated.
CHACHI: Okay, Gina, we need a lift.
GINA: F.O.N.Z, Chach. Commencing reverse thrust.

Joanie swims into Fonziebird 4 and sits beside Chachi.

CHACHI: That was amazing, Joanie.
JOANIE: Thanks.
CHACHI: Nice job, Gina.
GINA: Nothing to it, really.
CHACHI: Easy does it.

Outside, a large crowd of people are watching and Howard, Potsie, Fonzie, Ralph and Richie run into the crowd.

HOWARD & the BOYS: Whoa! Yeah!

Joanie and Chachi come out of Fonziebird 2 and run towards Howard and the boys.

CHACHI: Glad you could finally join us!
HOWARD: Chachi, don't get cocky after 1 mission. We're still in a dangerous situation here. I need you boys to close down this accident scene. Joanie, go get Gina and meet us in Fonziebird 1. Chachi, you come with me. We've got to get to the Bank of Milwaukee fast.
CHACHI: (as soon as he and Howard run towards Fonziebird 1) Lori Beth went after the Candy Man.
HOWARD: I know, she may need our help.

Scene 20- The Bank of Milwaukee. The bad guys are trying to get some of the treasures on the vault.

CANDY MAN: Ashes to ashes, diamonds to diamonds. (noticing Lori Bteh behind him) Laura Elizabeth, what an unpleasant surprise.
LORI BETH: (pointing a hnadgun at the Candy Man) Don't be rude. Can't tell you what a pleasure it would be to let my index finger pull this big trigger. Now don't move!
CANDY MAN: Eugene.

Eugene picks Lori Beth up and carries her to a nearby cage.

LORI BETH: Ewwww! That's not baseball!
CANDY MAN: I'm sorry. The only part of sport I ever liked was winning.
LORI BETH: How gross. Ewwww!

Inside Fonziebird 1, Howard and Chachi are getting ready to go to the Bank of Milwaukee.

CHACHI: Hey, Dad, that stuff the Candy Man said about you leaving him to die, he was lying, right?
HOWARD: No. See, you can't save everyone, Chachi. It doesn't matter how hard you try or how brave you are. It doesn't even matter if it's someone you love - someone you'd give up your life in a second to save. You just can't save everyone.
CHACHI: What was mom like?
HOWARD: She was a lot like you. Come on, we got a job to do.

Back at the Bank of Milwaukee.

LORI BETH: Huh.
CANDY MAN: Finish her off, Eugene.

Eugene handcuffs Lori Beth to one of the cage bars.

LORI BETH: Shame on you. I always hate a man who delegates the important jobs. (as Eugene strokes her left cheek) Ewwww, dream on, Prevert.

Eugene laughs.

Scene 21- Outside the Bank of Milwaukee. Howard, Chachi, Joanie and Gina have arrived to find Tom there with FONZ1.

HOWARD: Good timing, Tom.
TOM: Good afternoon, Mr. Tracy.
HOWARD: Come with us.
TOM: Sure thing, Mr. Tracy.

They enter the bank and Howard works out his battle plan.

HOWARD: Chachi, you and the girls stay with Tom. I'm going to go find Lori Beth. (runs towards the vault)

CHACHI: Well, what about the Candy Man?! Look out, Tom! (points behind Tom and runs off)
TOM: Chach!
GINA: (points behind Tom) Look out, Tom!!!
TOM: Okay, that's enough of that.
EUGENE: (from behind Tom) Don't move.
STICKY: (as Tom raises his fist) Go on then.
TOM: Okay.
JOANIE: (stepping in front of Tom) Allow me. (running off)
STICKY: Get back here! (cheases ather Joanie)
EUGENE: I've been waiting to get my hands on you little brats.
TOM: And I've been waitin' to get my hands on you. (punches Eugene in the face) Whoa! Now that was a punch.
GINA: Tom, can we rap this up?
TOM: What've you got in mind, Gina?
GINA: Well, strategically speaking, our best odds of success lie with the Parker Haymaker.
TOM: Great idea.

First, Tom kicks Eugene in the nuts and Gina floors him by punching him in the face allowing him to fly backwards.

EUGENE: Oh God!

As soon as he reaches the vault, Howard finds Lori Beth handcuffed to the cage and runs towards it.

HOWARD: Lori Beth!
LORI BETH: Mr Tracy, no!
CANDY MAN: (from behind Howard) Did you save them all this time, Howard? Or did you leave someone behind?
HOWARD: I didn't make you what you are.
CANDY MAN: It's not me you have to convince. (nods at Chachi)
HOWARD: Leave my son out of this.

Howard runs towards the Candy Man but is sent flying into the cage.

LORI BETH: Mr Tracy!
CHACHI: Dad!
CANDY MAN: I'm disappointed in you, Charles. I thought we were kindred spirits.
CHACHI: Well we're not. I'm Howard Tracy’s son.
CANDY MAN: You certainly are.
LORI BETH: Chach, don't!
HOWARD: Chachi!

Scene 22- Back in the bank. Sticky is chasing Joanie but Joanie manages to dodge him.

STICKY: Come here, you little bitch! (feels himself being hruled into a cage) Damn it.
JOANIE: Bye. (leaves)
STICKY: (feeling a bit dizzy) Mommy!

Back the vault. Chachi is heading towards the Candy Man. The Hood flips up to the catwalk.

HOWARD: Chachi, stay back!
CANDY MAN: You want so desperately to walk in Daddy's footsteps.
CHACHI: (feeling himself being choked) Oh my god!
HOWARD: Let him go!
CANDY MAN: Do you really think you could challenge me?
HOWARD: Let him go please!
LORI BETH: Let him go!
HOWARD: Please let him go!
CHACHI: (feeling himself being thrown on the floor) Ow!
LORI BETH: Chachi! Chach, are you okay?
HOWARD: Chachi, get out, run!
CHACHI: He's getting weaker! He can't last much longer!
HOWARD: Neither can you! (sees Chachi climb onto the Mole) Chachi, no! (watches Chachi jump towards the catwalk were the Candy Man is) Look out! Chachi!

The Candy Man stomps on Chachi's left hand.

CANDY MAN: I'm glad you could be here to see this, Howard.
CHACHI: Holy moly!
CANDY MAN: Good-bye, Charles.

The Candy Man is about to step on Chachi's right hand when Joanie arrives.

JOANIE: Noooo!

Joanie's eyes start glowing and now the Candy Man looks like he's about to be ground up into hamburger meat.

CANDY MAN: Leave me, Charles. Leave me to die like your Father did.
CHACHI: I don't want to save your life.
CANDY MAN: Oh God.
CHACHI: But it's what we do. (grabs the Candy Man's hand and pulls him to safety)

Later, the police come and arrest the bad guys, Lori Beth is free, the bad guys go into a police van and the Fonziebirds head home.

CANDY MAN: See you soon, Howard.
TOM: Now that was really showin' off.
EUGENE: (as he feels a cop on him) Get off!

[Race's Girl]

Scene 23- Tracy Island. The good guys are having a poolside party to celebrate capturing the Candy Man.

RICHIE: (throwing a ball) Ralph.

Ralph catches the ball.

FONZIE: (laughing) Cool catch.
RALPH: Hey, Pots.

Fonzie catches the ball from the lilo he is lying on.

RICHIE: Get him!

Ralph, Potsie and Richie all tip the lilo over knocking Fonzie off.

LORI BETH: Mr Tracy, what do you put in these tropical juices?
HOWARD: It's a Tracy secret.

Lori Beth laughs as Gina comes out of the swimming pool.

AL: (laughing) That's my girl. One more week and you're going to be swimming like a mermaid.
CHACHI: Good job, Gina.
GINA: Thanks.

Joanie walks over to Chachi and does a bit of a twirl.

JOANIE: So, what do ya think?
CHACHI: She's getting there. (looks at Joanie) Whoa, Joanie! Uh, you're just really um…blossoming.
JOANIE: Ew, did you say blossoming?
HOWARD: Gather around everybody. (as everyone gathers around him) I've got an announcement to make. Tonight's a special night. We're all together because of three very special people: Gina, Joanie, Chachi. The world needs Fonziebirds and the Fonziebirds need you.

Howard pins an IR badge on Gina.

GINA: Hah, Mr. Tracy?

Howard pins an IR badge on Joanie.

JOANIE: Thank you, Sir.

Howard pins an IR badge on Chachi.

HOWARD: Congratulations, Chachi. No shortcuts. You earned it. You all did.
TOM: (about to cry) I ain't usually an emotional guy but sometimes even the toughest nut must crack.

Fonzie, Potsie, Ralph and Richie all walk over to Chachi.

RALPH: Hey, way to go sprout.
FONZIE: That's my boy, Chach.
BOYS: Whoa! Yeah! That was some face. Come on, Chach! Ah!

Everyone laughs as the boys push Chachi into the pool and then jump in and then, Howard's pohne rings.

HOWARD: (on phone) Yes, Mr President. I see. Of course. Straight away. (hangs up) Boys! (to Lori Beth) Sorry, Lori Beth, duty calls.
LORI BETH: Sure it does and that's the truth.

Later in the control room, the boys are by their portraits and Howard is by his desk.

HOWARD: Fonziebirds are go.

Then in a flash, Fonziebirds 1, 2 & 3 all take off.
