Who's your fav. character in Rhoda and why?

I liked Brenda,who was chamring in her own slightly pathetic little way.She really brought a lot more humanity to the show than Rhoda did,IMHO

My favorite characters on Rhoda are: Rhoda, Brenda, and Ida. I love Rhoda (Not just because she was on MTM and I LOVE MTM) but also because she was someone anyone could identify with and relate to. Brenda was great, beacause she was basically what Rhoda would have been without the benefit of those four years in Minneapolis, and I love Ida because Ida is a "typical mother". I think she was an exaggeration of what a lot of real mothers do.

Ida Morgenstern! Nancy Walker was great in that role on both MTM and Rhoda. I don't think the spin-off would have worked if she wasn't there at least at the beginning.

Carlton the doorman! I greatly admire Lorenzo Music's ability to create such a memorable character using only his voice!

Hard to say - I see a lot of myself in Rhoda and Brenda. Yet, Ida never failed to crack me up. NO ONE could lay on the guilt like Ida. :eek: :lol:

Brenda and Ida are tied for me. Who I prefer depends on the episode. But, they're both my favs.

Rhoda!! then Brenda & Ida. The women were funnier than the men on this show...no wonder Rhoda got a divorce. Didn't care at all for Benny or Gary or the Johnny Venture character.
