Thoughts On Last Episode

what are your thoughts on tonight Last Episode Opening Night at the Boars nest i thought it was great with of course a Happy ending what your thoughts or think it could ended better

Two Questions First:

#1.
Can a deck of cards really stop a bullet?

#2.
Did the producers intend for this to be the last episode, or was it like so many other sitcoms when suddenly, it was decided that there was not going to be a season 8?

If the answer to question 2 is yes, the producers intended for this to be the series finale, that I must say that I was disappointed. I for one enjoy series finales that are specially made to serve as a finale. Usually, such episodes put a resolution to some issue that was first brought up at the beginning of the series. Also, proper finales bring back past characters for one last appearance and in some cases, set the tone for the future of the characters.

In the case of the Dukes of Hazzard, perhaps a resolution would be that the probation was finally revoked and they could make some moonshine again. And as unpopular as Coy, Vance, and Cletus may have been, I would have liked it if they made one final appearance in the finale just for the sake of it being a finale.

that would been cool have coy and vance return to stay at the ranch Daisy marry enos and someone like Hughie Hogg comes back to stay at hazzzard for good Boss Hogg retires and loses the Boars nest or it gets destroyed not sure what Uncle jesse do but it be good final

I have always felt that this episode was to be a season finale only. Unfortunately Dukes, never got picked up for an 8th season. If they producers had known the show was going off the air, they would have made a more fitting episode (just my opinion)

I always throught season Finale as well

I think that the show should've ended with Daisy and Enos FINALLY getting married. They never did, even in the reunion movies. :( :mad:
