the reason I'd get Maude is because I've never seen it, and I love both Bea Arthur and Rue McClanahan on Golden Girls. I am not much of an AITF fan, especially not enough to buy it.

Even though I put "Maude" last on my list, I'd still buy it if it came out. I watched it on TV Land and thought it was good. I just like the other shows more.

Yes it is because I would probably have been too young to see them, but I have been blind buying lots of shows lately and my want list still has probably almost 100 more sets. Though I am sure I would enjoy some/all of these shows, and would love to give them a chance I have to stop somewhere.

One Day At A Time is a MUST-HAVE imo, Alice and Maude are two others I would like to see on DVD as well. I personally like ODAAT more than a lot of the more "renouned" sitcoms from the era, I admit I like what I remember of it (it's been years) more than AITF, TC and MASH

I would buy ANY of those those shows before I bought Maude. I can't stand Maude. Never did like that show even when it was on originally. Anyway, here's the order I would purchase in:

A)Chico and the man (definitely would buy this one)
B)Alice(probably would buy this one)
C)One day at a Time(probably would NOT buy this one unless I got it for DIRT CHEAP).

I wouldn't buy Maude.

It's a Sony release of a 70s sitcom. Trust me, it'll be dirt cheap. Amazon.com's initial price for most of these types of shows is $20.96.

Well, actually, yes, that's a pretty good price but I was thinking more along the line of buying it even cheaper than that in either a yard sale, flea market or used dvd store. LOL! There are still LOTS of other season sets that I haven't gotten yet that I would rather spend my money on than "One Day At A Time." For example,

1) Taxi Season Three
2) Dallas Season Three
3) Kung Fu Season Three
4) Andy Griffith Show Season Three
etc.

So, unless I was able to get it for practically "give-away," there are other shows I'd rather spend my money on before "One Day At A Time." Although, I would still purchase this show LONG before I would EVER purchase Maude, which would be NEVER. :lol:
