Ps on n@n

Why can't good shows like Perfect Strangers and Growing Pains be on Nick At Nite. I know I saw PS on TVLand. So how come shows like this can't be on N@N?

I searched and it shows that it's airing on
KDUB2.

Where is that channel anyway??

Yes it will start on KDUB, which is a WB in Rapid City, SD!
Starting September 17th! Weekdays 9-10AM and 1-2AM.
Maybe locals have rights to it again???

I think they always had the option to buy it.
No one just did. I would like it if my local airs it.

It seems like tons of WB's are going to start airing it on the 17th! These WB's have something in common--they air the same programming! Things like Saved by the Bell, Rosie, Taz Mania, Richie Rich, and now Perfect Strangers!
I wish I had a WB like that! Anyone have PS coming to their WB! Please everyone check that site!

"Perfect Strangers" will air on my WB starting tomorrow at 9:00-10:00 AM, and 1:00 AM-2:00 AM

Perfect Strangers will be airing on the cable only WB. It's a cable channel for small markets that don't have a local WB station. Since it's a cable channel, it shows the same programming on every cable system. In different markets, they give these cable channels fake call letters to make them look like they're real WB affiliates. All the shows on there are Warner Bros shows, so it doesn't really cost much money to run it.

Nick at Nite and TVLand, and any other Viacom channel has rights still.
This show has aired on Nick at Nite for specials and TVLand too.
1.) Block Party Summer, Party Crasher Fridays (July 2000, 6 episodes) on Nick at Nite
2.) Nick at Nite's Game Show Case (1 episode aired, November 2000)
3.) TVLand's 48 Hour Merrython, 2 Christmas episodes aired (Dec 2000)
4.) Paul's Ultimate Fan Hour on TVLand (1 episode April 2001)

So does this mean Perfect Strangers's rights are owned by N@N!? Why aren't they playing it then. N@N can be real cheap sometimes!! What other shows do they have that they don't play??

I heard a rumor that TNN is considering airing the show on a Saturday show block in Fall 2002 and that it'll be included in a New Years eve weekend TVLand Fandemonium called the best of the 80's. There are RUMORS, these aren't true (yet), but if it is true, I'll update it.

plappy, Fandemoniums are coming to an end after the Oct 13-14 marathon...where did you hear about PS on TNN?

I think if N@N did away with Double Take and added PS to the
current line up they could have a very good '80s schedule with
The Cosby Show,Cheers,Family Ties,Three's Company and
Perfect Strangers.

9pm Cosby Show
9:30 Perfect Strangers
10pm Cheers
10:30pm All in the Family
11:00pm Family Ties
11:30pm Three's Company

Then Double Takes after midnight:
12-1am Cosby Show
1-2am Cheers
2-3am Perfect Strangers
3-4am Family Ties
4-5am Three's Company
5am All in the Family
