Does anyone know of websites/groups that specialize in trading game shows (I'm interested in specific ones pre 1980)? I've found several INDIVIDUAL's sites offering things I may be interested, but when I go to their home page or email them, they are no longer accepting trades. :( So I'd like to find an ACTIVE group of traders for "vintage" game shows...anyone?

I have GSN. LOL. They just don't show the ones I'm after (I'm after specific episodes of specific shows.) Thanks, tho!
(Actually, I guess it might be worth recording all the say, Passwords, in the hope of finding the few eps I'm looking for (since I haven't found them elsewhere)...problem is, some of the specific eps I'm looking for may not even exist, since many of those shows were taped over...mulling things over...thanks, again! (back to mulling))

Susie,
I have a bunch of "The Gong Show", if that constitutes as a game show. Some of these are hilarious, but sadly, it's not half as funny to me now as it was when I was a kid.
I also have a bunch of "You Bet Your Life" which are great. I hadn't realized that those were highly scripted until lilhave mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. And here I thought Groucho had such an excellent whit. I was sorely disappointed. ;)

Hi Jen! "You Bet Your Life" shows sound neat! BUT...I'm after your Alfred Hitchcocks first and then some more "Make Room For Daddy"s... (hoping there are TONS of Forensic Files so I have lots to trade with Jen...!)

I'd love to trade you for these GS episodes - I can only hope I have something good enough for you to want in return!
You can write to me: couroux@videotron.ca
Heard nothing but good things abt you on the board...it's great that this board exists.

Marc,
I can't possibly take on another trade at the moment, but I'll email you with a link as to where you may be able to find them.
