I have had a few concerns raised to me about certain "bad" traders who might be popping back up.

In this day and age of technology with new computers, computers at work, home, laptops, free library's and on and on.
New sites, free sites, hotmail sites, yahoo sites. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to keep the bad guys down, if they want to spend the effort. But I am spending the extra effort to, so if you have come across a questionable source, contact me or another moderator.
A good trader, will never take offense to being asked for a trader check.

And as always, follow a few safety tips- Such as
1-Outline the trade, and keep it small till you get to know each other.
2-Double check against these two specific links, we as moderators strive to add to these all the time- but as a community the more WE add, she safer WE are.

Bad traders:

Good traders:

Don't be upset if you haven't been added to the recomneded link yet, just give us a kindly reminder of why you should be...its hard to remember everyone.

3-
If it sounds too good to be true, double check. You can check on the Traders Report Site that I moderate as well- or simply ask around.
If you find someone who has everything you have ever wanted in perfect quality......

And 4- Please please please don't offer to sell or buy, and report all such requests. This is a great board and we want to keep it going.
This is to share, not profit. Leave the profiting for Ebay or Half.com Or garage sales and want ads.
Let's keep this clean and above the counter- .

If a trade has gone bad, we have many moderators for a reason. You are entitled to your privacy, but you can also find some great support here. And many times things can be worked out. The greatest tool I have used in all my trades isn't my burner, its communication.

Thank you! Although I'm new here, I know message boards are hard to run & this one has the additional aspect of people possibly getting ripped off - kind of like Ebay in it's early days. So thanks to all the mods...

for those who dont know

ebay in its infancy was a real mess

you could give people feedback even without a transaction being made

so a person could sign up 10 times and have feed back from all their other names

just like some trade boards----

you could sign up a different name every 10 minutes

just like some trader scammers now---------

when you got a negative deal

you could just move on and become another name

just like scammers now---------

its simple to cut down on the scammers

ask some of the members here--that you trust--privately if you need t---about a certain trader

someones gonna know good or bad

not every email you get will be the big one to land that special soemthing

most scammers look at what you post for and bingo, theres a fish on the hook

read, ask, if it smells funny, move on

if its a small trdae, give it a shot, not much lost

dont get tunnel visoin when a good thing comes along

they usualy are avaible through a known and proven trader as well
