I have asked this question a few times before and did not get an answer, it has been a while since I asked and this is about the 5th time, so lets see if anyone remembers this movie I know I didnt dream it and someone must have seen it too, I seen it around chrsitmas time in 1996 although it may have come out before that, I only seen it once in 96 and never seen it on tv again, I think it was on lifetime but im not positive. Here is the story.
The movie starts out with this kid playing in the front yard of his house and his mom is watching through the kitchen window and when she turns to check on his younger brother the older boy is abducted just seconds after his mother turned away now about 15 years later he finds out that he is adopted and was kidnapped and tracks down his real parents and he moves in with them and rents a room but does not tell them who he is, his brother is now 16 i believe and also doesnt know who this renter is, the boy that was abducted is now a young adult and is the perfect young man and the man and woman he rents from (his real parents) fall in love with this kid treating him as though he is their own even though he is and they just dont know it and after he helps his younger brother deal with his problems he decides to move back in with his adopted parents and then leaves a letter for his real parents explaining who he really was and that freaked them out but made them so happy that now they knew their son was alive and how he turned out.
So does anyone know the title of this movie? I keep thinking the actor Richard Masur was in it but I may be wrong PLEASE HELP ME.
