I remember watching an episode of "LB" in which the beautiful actress Linda Purl, for some plot reason lost to me, disguised herself as a man.

I know of what you speak. Yes she did appear in an episode like that. But I am sorry I don't know the name. If you check on TV.com you can find info there. But you are right!!!
