Wasn't Ray Romano supposed to play the handyman, before they switched to a tough guy type and chose Joe Rogan?

I dunno, but I'm glad they kept Joe. His character became more developed than the first guy in the pilot could have been, and I don't think I would have seen Ray as the fix-it type, seeing as he's more a comedian to begin with.

Besides, could Ray have been so tweeked out over aliens? LOL, I doubt it.
