Hey all. I was just curious about what everyone thought about this show "jumping the shark," if it did at all. For those of you who don't know what "jump the shark" means, it's when a television show goes considerably downhill(the term "jump the shark" was coined because many Happy Days viewers considered the show to go downhill when the Fonz did a waterski jump over a shark...LOL). So, I created this poll to get your opinions about it...sorry, but I am only giving you one choice...so think long and hard about this one ;)

I picked "Jack meets Vicky, Janet marries Phillip." Not solely because I wanted Jack and Janet together(because I did to a point), but because I didn't like who they chose to pair them off with. The ending was such a crappy way to send off awesome characters and I felt that was when the show became depressing and hard to watch.

In my opinion, this show didn't jump the shark too much(not compared to other shows). It had little moments where it lost its charm, but mostly it was an awesome show and the changes did little to effect it....except for(in my opinion), the ending. Still, for a show to jump at its tail end is not so bad at all! :D ;)

The show jumped the shark, IMO in the episode "The Heiress". It all went downhill from there.....Janet met Phillip, Jack met Vicky, Janet marries Phillip, Terri gets an unfair send off and Jack moves in with Vicky. Bad, bad move on the producers part, but of course, we all know this already.

So I also voted "Jack Meets Vicky, Janet marries Philip". I can never watch those last few episodes, because they make me so sad. :(

I hate that the show is wonderful every single (well almost) episode is sooooooo wonderful and did its purpose even the Heiress is ok...still had that comdey thing going and could have just been one more epi!

As much as I hated Vicky and Phillip, I voted for when Suzanne left the show. I personally DESPISE Suzanne as a person, but the show changed dramatically when Chrissy was gone. It lost some of the comedic effect without Chrissy's "dumb" remarks.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the show even after Chrissy left. Some of the greatest episodes came later on, but the chemistry that the three roomates shared was never quite the same to me, Although I do think Jack & Janet got closer after Chrissy left, which I liked. ;)

When Jack met Vicki and Janet met Phillip. That was awful.
