Did Mr. Davenport eventually start calling Ann by Ms. Romano, or did he keep calling her M.S. Romano? I guess the chauvenistic overtones went over my head back then.

It was Mr. Connor who called Ann M.S. Romano. He was played by John Hillerman who went on for eight seasons on Magnum P.I.
