Golden Globes' Desperate Shift!

The Hollywood Foreign Press has announced that they will move the 63rd annual Golden Globe Awards from Sunday, Jan. 15 to Monday, Jan. 16 on NBC -- to avoid being in competition with Sunday night ratings champ, ABC's "Desperate Housewives." The awards show, which has become a fave of Hollywood stars, will take place at the Beverly Hilton.

I hope this starts a trend to move all of the awards shows off Sunday Nights. I think the Oscars were much better on Mondays and the Grammy's this past year got horrible ratings due to Desperate Housewives.
