A BIRTHDAY PARTY?? Right after the Party for J.J Ended, Florida says-"Ok now yall go and do your homework" After a PARTY????-lol

I wouldn't see why not?? Especially if they have school the following day & it's a must for their homework to be turned in. My mom would make me do the same thing.

My house too. If I didn't do my homework before a party or anything, then I had to do it after. There is school the next day, then homework had to be done. No questions asked!!!!!!!

Since I had homework on the weekends. I'd try to get it all out of the way on a Friday right after school so I wouldn't have to worry about it all weekend.Then there were sometimes I waited until Sunday night & I would dread doing homework at that time lol, especially if it's super hard! But my mom made sure I did it too LOL! :D

I really don't think she knew what else to say since JJ's birthday did not turn out, gift wise, as James and Florida had originally planned.

JJ was saddened and James and Florida were hurt that they could not give their son the gift that they had so desired.

You know the party ended abruptly so I think she said that to Thelma and Michael just so she and James could be alone with their thoughts and feelings.

I loved the way they were alone with their thoughts and feelings. Dancing to that song. It made me feel so, I can't describe. Made me think of my late mom and dad. :(
