I have a question for any and everyone.... Does anyone know what is up with Loren and her side of the family?? and why does she dodge the question when Michael or Gloria ask her?? And remember when she went away on a buisness trip she didn't want any of her other friends outside of Genoa City to know about her getting married?????

Don't know how far back you go, so I may be repeating something you already know.

Lauren's never talked about son Scotty, will finally be coming on in the fall. I know a little more, but on these boards posters get upset over spoilers, so that's all I'm going to say.

Lauren's father died on screen. I think it was a heart attack. The actor who played her father also played a father on BB.

Lauren's mother I assume is still on DOOL. It's been a while since she has been on.

I remember her father was on for quite a while before they casted her mother.

No, people don't get upset over spoilers. As long as you clearly mark it "Spoilers" before posting the actual spoilers, so people have the option of whether or not to actually read them, it's fine.

Something I want to clarify:

The spoilers I am referring to are not exactly spoilers since most YR fans on other boards already know. The reason they know is because upcoming plots are mentioned in magazines.

eg. Most fans already knew about Cassie's death way before it happened. On this board, I got the feeling most fans didn't know in advance. I don't want to start an arguement or anything; but I find I am careful what I post here.

If they are things people probably already know, you could post them if you want. And if they really are spoilers, you could do like I said and mark the post as "Spoilers" to give people the option to read it. Sometimes I post spoilers/previews in the Y&R thread, but usually put something in the title of my post about it.

Not surprising some of the newer viewers wouldn't know about Scotty. That was one of the biggest questions on Y&R - where is Scotty? Paul also has two kids he never talks about.

I think Scotty would be around his early teens. But of course, when he does come on he will be older.

Paul would know about Scotty. Paul used to be married to Lauren. Scotty's father is the late Scott Grainger. Of course, if the writers have Paul forgetting his children, they could have Paul not knowing about Scotty.

I have been watching for years...I do remember Paul and Loren being married and I remember one of Pauls kids but don't remember Loren's or her dad... That's how long it's been..... But thanx for the update, appreciate it.... :wave:
