I would say "cry" ----but, I didn't.

A scene that did it for me was when Adrian's brother told Monk that Trudy died while going to the drug store for him. And then later, when Monk has to save Ambrose from the fire.

What about you?

Oh my God, that about killed me; really. Actually the first scene I ever watched that brought me to tears (and seriously made me fall in love with the show) was during "Mr. Monk Goes Home Again". Ambrose thought he ate that poisoned candy bar and he, Adrian and Natalie were in the ambulance thinking that he was going to die. OMG, that was so sad...

That episode is my favorite one of all time.

Andrea

PS: I'll think of some other emotional moments and get back to this thread. There have been several.

One of my favorite episodes is when Monk and Natalie go to his college reunion. At the end, when he flashes back to his first meeting with Trudy and how they began to fall in love, I began to tear up. He really did love that girl. Monk never did take his wedding ring off, did he?
