For those of you who are new to trading, the Brazilian scammer is one of the worst and most persistent ripoff artists ever to plague DVD traders. People I trust (moderators of other trading forums) have reported scams and ripoffs perpetrated by the Brazilian going back to the earliest days of the internet, around 10 years ago. See ku7uk's bad trader list for details.

I'm sure there are lots of people that would love to get their hands on him! :mad:

I know hindsight is 20/20, but you broke one of the golden rules when trading with someone you don't know...that is, ALWAYS start out with a small trade. If someone isn't willing to do it, drop them like a bad habit, because there is no valid reason someone would not do it, when 2 people don't know each other.

So sorry to hear about this happening to you. 200 DVDs is just way overboard to trade on a first time basis with anyone let alone someone out of the country. Anytime you have a question about a trader just come on here these guys are great about helping people with trader checks!

Yes I agree. As for Andy Turpa I really really regret not blowing the whistle on him when I had suspicions (i.e. when he made a post about having Family Matters in the Family Matters board and Trading Post, but the sources were totally different in each post).
