I believe there was three. Ms. Butterfield didn't appear until the last season. I forgot she ever existed until I looked at a Bea Arthur fan page on the net.

I think you're right Solomon. I don't know much about the last one, but the first two are right (and were my favourites). I felt so badly when Florida left, but Mrs. Nagutuck had her own funny charms too.

From what I can remember of Victoria Butterfield, she just seemed "to be there." There seemed nothing special about her like Florida and Mrs. N. It has probably been twenty years since I saw a Victoria episode.

Yeah I found out she is only in the last season which is why I'm looking for last season eps.

Hey, there is another housekeeper that is hired for the household. Conchata Farrell was hired by Maude with some help from Florida. I only saw her on one episode but I think that might have been it. Technically, she had 4 maids.

No that maid never actually worked for Maude. It looked like she was going to be the maid since that was Florida's last episode

They just added Florida's final episode on Comcast. I hope we get to see Mrs. Naugatuck soon. Why do I have a sick feeling they probably only bought 2 seasons? :(

I only watched the Florida episode so far. I know I saw the same orange dress, apron, and coat on Good Times. I guess Norman Lear recycled the wardrobe to save money. I don't think that Conchetta person would've been a good permanent maid replacement in Maude's house. Was this the only episode she was on? I want to see Mrs. N drunk and hiding in the coat closet. I hope she arrives soon!

No Conchetta was not seen again after Florida's last episode

Maude also had a maid in her Washington DC home at the end of the series.I don't remember her name. All I remember about this maid, was she was a very short old lady with grey hair and glasses. She could possibly have been actress Edna Volsz, who played Adelaide, the second housekeeper on Different Strokes.

You actually got to see Maude's new home in Washington!? I can't remember that at all!! How many episodes did you actually get to see her in Washington? I'm still glad they didn't continue the show. I mean it would've been interesting to see, but it was better to stop the show instead of having it fall flat on it's face with all the changes. It probably would've been like Laverne and Shirley in L.A. :bash:
