I may be too late to comment, but I agree with the others, it makes me want to read on! Excellent stuff. :D

You've really 'got' David and Maddie too - it sounds like them speaking and reacting and thinking. Whilst I read, I'm actually imagining them acting it out!

Excellent job on this! You have definitely captured the spirit of the two of them, and this could have been torn out of an episode.

I can't wait to see where you go with this. :)
