get together and write a M*A*S*H book. However, it would be the Hawkeye character writing about his memories of the war. It would cover all 11 seasons, pretending like they were just three years. He may even talk about what happened to all the characters after the war. The ones he was able to contact and ask, that is. I think it would be a great book and I'd buy it.
Who else would like to have that book?

If Alda did write this book he should remember that his Hawkeye character was in touch with Potter when the latter worked at that hospital with Klinger and Mulcahy in the states according to the series Aftermash. Hawk could also mention he had many dreams that seemed real at the 4077th including one where Father Francis Mulcahy was Father John P. Mulcahy. plus, he had dreams his own mother was still alive while he was at the 4077th. And he had dreamed he even had a sister!
I think it would be a great idea. I wold love to see the writers come up with some sort of followup to the show, even if it is just a book.

Might work, but i think writing about things already seen on the show would be like reading a rerun script , pointless
