ITV2 appear to have bought the rights to SEASON ONE of Spin City, and will start showing it on Monday 30th May, in daily double bills. Two episodes in the morning, and then both repeated in the evening.

This will be the first time either of the first two seasons will have been shown in the UK for years, as I think Paramount Comedy stopped showing them at the time they began airing the Charlie Sheen seasons, and since the have only ever shown 3-6 on a loop.

What's more, ITV2 is available on Freeview well as Sky. This is the closest SC has got to returning to terrestrial TV since Channel 4 aired Michael J Fox's final episode in 2001.

Hopefully, the second season will be shown also. What a great start to the summer!

Even better. I've been informed that ITV2 have the rights to the first four series. Paramount retain the rights to 5 and 6, but don't rule out showing one to four again in the future. As it stands, all 6 series are catered for on UK tv :-)

That's great. Coincidentally, I e-mailed ITV2 just yesterday. I noticed that they were going to stop showing the Season 2 episodes (episode 2.1 was on last Friday) after this week, and wanted to know if and when they would resume them. Turns out they are scheduled to return at the end of July, but the date wasn't confirmed yet. I think it's being taken off because of the Tour de France, as coverage of that is 7pm (time Spin City is usually show) daily, from Monday 4th July. In the meantime, it looks as though Paramount is just looping Season 6 at the moment, but it would be nice if they show other seasons in the future.
