I'm watching the episode of the family that got bilked out of $25,000 on their dream home. I just noticed an attorney in the deal was played by the same guy who played the investigator that heard the voice of the ghost in a Colorado murder.

I wonder how many other times an actor played more then one character. I'm guessing that he happened to live in Colorado so got asked again.

I see the swindler captured, but skipped out on bail. Wonder if he ever was caught again.

Mitchell was no genius but he was able to swindle those two individuals and a bunch of others by offering them a wet sack of empty promises. I usually feel sympathy for a lot of these folks who have been defrauded but in this case the deal he was trying to sell them spelled out "Scam" so clearly that it's amazing how many people Mitchell rooked. I mean what I gathered from the segment is that Mitchell wanted investors in his company and to repay those people for their trust in his efforts he was going to give them major discounts and even increase their investment two fold or something like that. What did Marc Mitchell have to gain by all of this - definatley less than he was giving to his investors. In the competitive world of real estate very few people in Mitchell's line of work would want to give so much with getting back so little. It was a scam from the start much like that Manwell Marino who was doing a similar scam in Pennslyvania by rooking senior citzens into investing in his projects involving water towers and sewer lines.

It's just a sad state of affairs all around and causes me to shake my head at the people from I believe Breckenridge Colorado right? Where everybody hitch hikes to get where they are going?
