Guys, I'm so upset!

I went to every store imaginable today and could NOT find TC Season 4..it wasn't at F.Y.E., Best Buy, or the two Wal-marts I frequent....did this happen to anyone else?!! Or are my stores just stupid?! :mad: I am seriously so annoyed/upset right now. One girl even laughed at me when I told her what I was looking for :(

I got mine at Best Buy, but I went bright an early to get it. I knew that if I waited, that I wouldn't get a copy, and the stupid store isn't allowed to hold anything for anyone (or at least the Best Buy over here isn't). I know how you feel though, because the same thing happend to me with season one. I figured that "Three's Company" isn't very popular judging by how so many people think I'm nuts for loving the show, so I didn't bother waking up early to get it. Backfired. I went to Best Buy, it wasn't there, and I was seriosuly upset. I was fuming! :livid: I remember everyone was staring in disbelif at my behavior! LOL! Hey, I wanted that DVD, and I didn't think it was right that I didn't get my copy! I'm a die-hard fan here, and I think we have the right to get our copies before anyone else! LOL! Anyway, I called EVERYWHERE and no one had any copies left. Finally, I called K-mart, and they had only a few copies left, and I made them save it for me. I remember yelling at the store clerk that answered the phone "HOLD THAT FOR ME!! I'll be right there to get it!!". :lol:

My advice to you would be to call EVERYWHERE you can think of that sells DVDs. You might get the luck to find a store that has even just one left. That's what I did, and I thought there wasn't any hope (with season one). Good luck!!

Thanks for your advice...I was so pissed at that girl...I'm like, 'Ok, you just don't have good taste!' Seriously, though...no one was helping me even look for it(well, except for this really nice guy at Best Buy)... It seemed as if nobody even had it, nor heard of such a release. I wonder if it's just not selling well in my area? I thought for sure Best Buy would've had it. Anyway, I cracked down and just ordered it on Amazon to be safe :( Won't be getting it 'til next week but at least I have it!

Aww! That sucks!!! I got out of work at 8! and then I had to go to my little cousins party so when I got out of there Best Buys was closed so I was like Target!! Since the first season was available there I thought to go there well they didn't have it, then I went to Wal-Mart and they didn't have it either!:( I've always order from Amazon but this time I was like I'll get it at BB b/c I always end up buying it at a local store since Amazon takes a day or two to get here! But I should have just order Amazon. My brother is going to go get it tomorrow for me ;)!! So hopefully I'll have it tomorrow otherwise I'll just have to go back to Amazon! :D

Hey all, stores running out of copies is, in a sense, a good thing. It means that they're selling out of the seasons sets, which means that we're guaranteed to get more seasons. I'm grateful for anything we get at this point, even if it's not the whole series, but I'm hoping to have ALL seasons in a couple of years, along with the spinoffs (which will happen if sales remain healthy). Who knows how much we'll actually get, but selling out of copies is a good sign. I hope this keeps up (although I do hope you all have your copies before long).

i bought from best buy ;-) but i give to my mom money then mom pick up for me cause i work late.. that why mom home early easy for me to pick up for me it cost lot of money with other dvd with "touched by an angel" season 2.. and three company season 4 ;-) .. i gave to mom over 100.00 ;-) .. that why i been saving long time.. about not too long about last january ;-) .. :)

oh i forget one thing cause my mom close to best buy her work that why ..
my far away from best buy about 1/2 hour get there.. of my work..

I also noticed that the price had been marked down from $40 to $29.99.....could that signal trouble? :confused: Isn't it rather unusual for a DVD to be marked down on the day of its release date? I hope sales are doing well :(

GRRRR, you and I were definately in the same boat then. I was so annoyed, especially being laughed at. Thankfully, someone at FYE in another town(about twenty minutes away) said he'd reserve it for me last night....thank you, anonymous FYE coworker :D! I got my copy today before school.

I love FYE, They're really cool. I may just go to Walmart as soon as I get off the bus, I'll fill up the car on the way home. I must have TC and I must have it now! :D

Well I had a copy reserved(also for John Cena's CDhttp://image.allmusic.com/13/amg/cov200/drg700/g748/g74864j60hw.jpg and TC Season 5) at Media play and had gift certificates that I got for being a Replay member.Then the guy had a tough time finding.Then he found out that they had none in stock,but 8 on the way:angryfire.I went out and said to myself "I'm not gonna wait til the end of the week.Screw them,I'm going to the mall."And I did.I first went to Suncoast because I could use the certificates there.They didn't have any mumble:.I had the same look on my face that Jack had in Up In The Air when he drank the drink called The Rocket.So I went out of there and went to FYE where I bought Season 2 last year.There it was!I was so happy :woohoo: party: :yippee: .Although I had to pay more money because my certificates couldn't be used,I paid more money anyway

I went to both Walmart and Target last night and neither of them have it.
I'll keep trying target though cause they're more likely to have it. I'll give it till saturday, if they don't have it, i'll go over to Massachusetts and get it at either Best Buy or FYE.

ED since i see how much you want to see these spinoffs, this is what I will do for you, you can just buy a blank tape and a $4.00 money order for shipping and mail me the tape and i will record One episode of the Ropers with Larry and one episode of Three's A Crowd with Larry. That way you will have had a small sample of what both shows were like. Let me know if you are intrested because i can see your HUNGER for these spinoffs to be released on DVD-lol

I 've watch Nancy's interview that was very cute and I learned lots of stuff about John!:) Mine kinda scratch at times so I hope its the dvd player and not the acutal set! I just wish they would have added bloopers....so far my fav. part out of the only 3 epis I've watch is the end of "A baby makes two"! (JJ part) :D

I am just the opposite, I have bought all the previous releases at BB, but this time I chose to go Amazon. At least out here, BB advertised the set fo 29.99, and after you include the CA sales tax it comes out to about $6 more than the Amazon price. This time I chose to be a little frugal!

Yea mine costed $32.50 w/ tax and everything but I would always order online and then I couldn't wait for mine to arrive since everyone would start talking about it and I would go out and buy the set so I would end up doing a double purchase! LOL! So I just figured I would get it at BB this time!

At the Best Buy over here, they don't have many John Ritter movies (the only one's I've seen are "Problem Child" 1 & 2 and "Noises Off") but they do have all the seasons of "Three's Company" (well they carry them, but they're not always is stock). I'm guessing that your Best Buy probably ran out of season 4 DVDs since that's the one that was just released. Since they don't often carry many copies of the other 3 DVD sets, it could be that people saw season 4 released, and decided to buy season 2 (or any of the other seasons) as well.
