........Sanford and Son, Good Times, The Jeffersons, and What's Happening!, what role would any of you would give him? Let's get creative!

The reason why I asked because he seems to have a problem with these black shows. He seems to think they portrayed blacks negative. But he created Fat Albert and was in Uptown Saturday Night. He's a hypocrite.

If it wasn't for the 4 shows I listed above, there would be no Cosby Show.

I could see him playing a nice nehibor on Good Times. Maybe a lawyer on Sanford and Son. A customer on the Jeffersons.

Bill didn't have a problem guest starring on Flip wilson and acting like a fool. He is a idiotFlip Wilson was worst than than Sanford and Son, Good Times, The Jeffersons, and What's Happening!. I think part of the reason he doesn't like these shows is because he didn't have the first hit black show and these were the first hits. and he doesn't like Sanford and Son because he had feud with Redd Foxx at one time.

That would be "an idiot", fool.

Bill Cosby doesn't like those series because they negatively portrayed black people. Although, I don't think The Jeffersons negatively portrayed black people. He didn't like that they were about race. Whereas TCS was just about a family, black or white. And the episodes that did have something to do with their being black had meaning to them, and weren't stereotypical.

Well if he felt that way why did he create FAT ALBERT??????????????????????????????Like I said he probably was angry, because he didn't have the first successful black show and that his first show flopped. so I don't think he cared about the way the shows were.

Because it taught kids lessons. It was educational.

Interesting you bring that up, because the New Bill Cosby Show debuted the same year as Sanford and Son and FAILED-lol

Fat Albert was a show that generally presented positive characters of color. Anytime the Cosby kid characters got involved with someone that did something wrong, there were always consequences to be paid and lessons learned. If there were negative characters on that show, it was just to illustrate that kids would get into trouble if they didn't do the right thing. That show didn't necessarily portray Blacks in a negative light.

It's not that we don't like him, he is just full of sh%t. He played the role of a HOODLUM in a Movie during the mid-70's but had the nerve to say he didn't like the Jeffersons. And let's not forget his Ghetto Cartoon-"Fat Albert"

It is educational. It has been shown on various E/I channels and PBS aired reruns of it. It is also popular for the classroom.

And the Jeffersons was about a successful Black Family

Sanford and Son was about a Father and Son living and working together to do the best they could to make ends meet.

Good Times was about how a Family is supposed to stick together and support each other during tough Times

So now do U see why I call Bill Cosby an IDIOT?

Personally, I liked Bill Cosby in "Uptown Saturday Night" and "Let's Do It Again". He was funny in those roles and he didn't try to be. He was "street". I wish mainstream america would have saw him in these movies. It was like he was a different person from what he is now.

Another thing about Bill is The creator of Good Times claims he pitched the idea of that Bill used for the Cosby Show and was never credited. I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

Eric Monte (Good Times creator) is so bitter it's sad.

The Cosby Show was based on Bill Cosby and his family.
