Did anyone watch it? My initial reaction was that it was very interesting and painted a different story on several things I had read about in the past..
I didn't realize there was such a large age difference between John Amos and Esther Rolle.
I didn't know John Amos was asked to leave the series, it wasn't his decision to leave the show.
Everybody always said Esther Rolle left the series because of the J.J. character but the E! story led me to believe it was more over money than that..
Ralph Carter doesn't look anywhere near death as had been reported..
They did have recent interviews with Ja'net DuBois, Ralph Carter, Johnny Brown, the co-creator, and some of the writers - but where were the interviews with Jimmie Walker and John Amos? Surely, Jimmie has talked
about Good Times since 1979 (they did have something from 1996 but it wasn't about Good Times).. There was a brief interview with BernNadette Stanis from 1997 and one of Esther Rolle from 1988.
