I've been watching the Golden Girls ever
since it was first aired. My mom got me
started on Golden Girls, now I'm addicted! LOL Actually, there are three
shows I'm addicted to:
1) Golden Girls
2) Facts of Life
3) Days of Our Lives.

I watched it when it was new, and when it started on Lifetime, I have been watching it ever since. And recently I've been looking for a friend of mine who was in an episode, so I can show my roommate. She vaguely recalls the episode, and Lifetime hasn't played it in a LONG time, so I've been trying to catch the ONE episode for 5 months now. (Not every time it plays though, I can't catch it that often, but I still check listings to see if it's on, and it hasn't been.)

Oh well, I'll be watching it til it gets run off the air, I'm sure.

The episode with Laslo (or did they spell it Lazlo?), the sculptor. They all think he's going to sculpt them, and in the end they're ALL in the finished product. And my favorite part is when they wonder whom it is that he likes and he turns out to be gay. I die laughing every time. I wouldn't be surprised if I missed it a couple weeks ago, but I've been looking at the synopsis of every episode for a week and a half so far, and I know it hasn't been on recently.

*shrugs* I'll catch it again at some point.

I would say about 2 years now, though it seems *much* longer. Maybe cuz it's played so much, you can see most of the episodes pretty quick.

I've been watching since September 1997, that's when we got Direct TV. Before that we just had are regular local channels. I remember The Golden Girls airing in syndication from 1991-1993 on Channel 12 in Milwaukee and from 1992-1996 on Channel 47 out of Madison. I also remember seeing it on Channel 11 out of Green Bay from about 1993-1996. Then the Golden Girls moved to Lifetime in March of 1997 and it has been there ever since.

My guides say I have "The Artist" coming on 9/13 at 6:30pm my time, and BELIEVE ME, I have my VCR running in case I'm not home in time!

HMPH! It doesn't say anything more than Blanche posing nude for a European sculptor, but I'm SURE it has to be the one I'm looking for. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

THANKS!

I'm only 13, and we don't have "Lifetime", so a few years ago, we had a neighbor tape it every day and I still watch them TO THIS DAY. I'm pretty sure I've seen every one, except for one where the girls are dressed as birds, and Sophia dressed like, I think maybe Robin Hood? I don't know anything about those episodes ,I really want to see them. Oh, and I've NEVER seen ONE episode of "Golden Palace", I bet it sucks, but I REALLLLYYYY want to watch it though, does it suck?

Are you talking about the episode "Henny
Penny"? I think that is what it is called. That episode is hilarious!

I first started watching "GG" when it was on back in the 80's and early 90's on Saturday nights. Ever since then I would watch it on what ever channel would show it in syndication, like Lifetime. So I guess you could say that I've been watching the show 15 years on and off, and hopefully for many many more!!!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

Even though my Message Board name is about "Family Matters", I love "Golden Girls" too! On WVIT Channel 30 in Hartford, it was on 4:30PM from about 1993-1995 along with The Fresh Prince, Married with Children, and Cheers. Those were the days.
I now watch it after supper at 6PM on Lifetime and have been watching ever since 1997 on Lifetime.

This Thursday will mark the first anniversary of my regularly watching the Golden Girls.

You'll think I'm crazy, but I'm actually inviting a few friends over who also watch it and we'll have "Golden Girl Birthday" cake.....St. Olaf Style!

I've been watching The Golden Girls for nearly 3 years now. I only started because I couldn't pronounce Blanche's name, at the time I was 11...you do the math, in the info section of my guide, I clicked on it and have been watching it ever since! If I miss an episode I get depressed.
