When did Steph and Gia suddenly become best friends? i remember in this one episode Steph posted all of Gia's bad grades on the wall at school and they hated each other. When did they become friends?

When they went to the smash club they talked and then became friends after Steph realized Gia wasnt all that bad and Gia realized Stephanie wasnt all that bad.

On that episode, when Steph got even with Gia, they were at the Smash Club talking things over and they became friends. Gia even changed. She still had to repeat the 7th grade on the last season, but she quit smoking and didn't act like a badass.

I guess thats kind of a matter of opinion. In mine I don't think she really stopped being a badass. Maybe not as much as she was when she was first introduced but she still had a edge to her in the next season with lying about throwing a makeout party, encouraging Stephanie to get in a car with 16 year old strangers who just got their license who enjoy speeding, encouraging Stephanie to stand Ryan up since he did the same to her, encouraging Stephanie to keep her room dirty since she didn't want to clean it. I think she kind of had a big influence on Stephanie in the last season, which I'll admit I liked because I enjoyed seeing her stray away from being exactly like DJ. While Stephanie impacted her life in a more positive way, Gia impacted Stephanie's in a bit of a negative way because she hadn't completely lost that edge. She just quit smoking and started focusing more on her grades.
