Does anyone else here watch Friends? I went to the Friends message board (at Sitcoms Online), but there are only 2 pages of posts. There aren't that many posters there - I'm really surprised.

Sometimes I watch if if there's nothing else on but it's not the best... and Mossopp is right, IMO it is really overrated!! But sometimes it can make me laugh...I watch it though it's an ok show.

Actually, I agree. Alot of the lines in the show are considerably "cheap." I assume that the ratings are high in Scotland?

Anyway, to each his own, I know that there are some people here who like it, but hey- that's just my opinion, and I am certainly entitled to it.

"Friends" is the best show ever and the reason about only 2 pages is that the general boards like this one tend to have more posts than the more specific boards.

Yeah, 'Friends' is pretty popular over here. It's one of Channel 4's highest rated shows and you can get EVERY episode on DVD and video. I've only watched it a few times but I really don't understand why everyone finds it so funny.

Of what I saw of it the jokes are kinda' old, the new ones are over used, and they just don't treat each other like friends. I may be mistaken, but isn't the show about friends, not put downs? Of course I haven't see much of it.

Well, I'll admit- Courtney Cox is a pretty good actress. I liked her even better on Family Ties though. Actually, I think that all of the actors/actresses of Friends' are OK. It's not the actors that turn me off, it's the way the show is written.
