We just run around in circles for 17 minutes each class without stopping. Well, I usually stop at about 4 minutes and start walking. Then the teachers start yelling at me or adding on time to the run. I hate them and PE in general.
I don't have to go tomorrow, though. :D

writing a paper like that isnt as hard as it seems. writing those AP papers and other crap when you get older is 256272x harder.
just say that personal fitness keeps you healthy and prevents you from being sedentary. wow. i actually remember things i learned from that class  good luck on your paper!

As for AP papers, gosh, don't even TALK to me about those. They are a killer!!! I took AP World History last year- I was miserable! And now I am taking AP Java- STILL miserable! I'm so happy I decided to turn down AP French, AP American, and AP Physics. I was qualified, but heck.... I don't wanna kill myself before I turn 18, LOL. :)

Does anyone feel like telling me how to figure this out?
A mixture of water, sand, and salt has a mass of 500 g. How could you determine how much of each substance is present in the mixture?
Sorry for mooching homework answers in your thread about something completely different, Transit Whiz.

And ew... is that algebra? So long ago... I think I've forgotten, LOL. There isn't enough information to solve the problem. This sounds more like a ratio problem. You would need something like... "the amt of water to sand to salt is 1:3:5." Something like that. It's just an example. Then in turn you can do, x+3x+5x=500. Solve for x, and then just substitute x back to get the values.

Just type a couple of lines and then copy-paste over and over again til you get a page, or do it in a really big font. Teachers love that.
I was the king of all that in school.

At first I thought you could measure out the same amount of water, and weigh it. The difference between that and the first weight would be how much sand is in there. I'm not really sure how to solve it for the salt though, because that would be dissolved.

OHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! My head just ticked! This isn't algebra. This is chemistry, right??? Gotcha. LOL.
To measure the sand, use filtration. Filter out the sand from the water/salt solution.
Then measure the water & salt solution together.
Then boil the water until only the salt is left.
Weigh the salt.
Subtract the salt weight from the salt/water weight, and tada! LOL.
At least I think. ;)

I also took AP Spanish, AP Psychology, and AP Language and Composition, but those were a bit easier.
