NEW YORK – Whether dual nominee Jamie Foxx wins or not, TV viewers will be able to see him talk amid swelling music on Oscar night.
Foxx sits down with interviewer Barbara Walters for an ABC special airing on the evening of the Feb. 27 awards telecast. Fox, who is nominated for best actor for his performance in "Ray" and best supporting actor for "Collateral," will talk about his difficult childhood, ABC said Monday.
"The Barbara Walters Special" will air immediately before the Oscars show on the East Coast (7 p.m. EST) and immediately following the show on the West Coast. It will be the 24th annual edition of the special.
Guests also include actor-comedian Will Ferrell and "Desperate Housewives" co-star Teri Hatcher. Ferrell will talk about his move from "Saturday Night Live" to films, and Hatcher will discuss her career's surprise turnaround due to her hit ABC show.
