What network do you think should bring bak FOL?
These are good network examples that I think should bring back FOL:
-TNN
-TV Land (defenetely)
-The-N
-Disney Channel
-Lifetime (not really, coz they'd show it in the mornigs [along with nanny and golden girls] and I'm in school then)
-Nick @ Nite (again)
BUT NOT HALLMARK, THEY SKIPPED SOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY EPISODES AND THEY CUT OUT SOOOOOOOOOOO MANY PARTS  . Although I Liked that they showed a tag before the theme song. :)

I think it should go back on the USA network

TV Land and USA are the only ones I agree with. TNN is now a network geared toward men, and Disney Channel is now too focused on teenybopper crap.
I'd pick TV Land over N@N because I feel that FOL would have a better chance of getting more exposure since it's a 24-hour network. And they serioously need to do something with USA. I swear, I can't believe that channel is still on the air. Instead of airing the same crap day in and day our they should bring back the 70's/80's sitcoms, cartoons, and game shows and save their movies and crap for late evening/night. The network just needs more variety.

Definitely not Nick, they ruined the show, but it would be good on TVLAND, USA, and Lifetime.

I wouldn't mind seeing it on Lifetime, but they wouldn't show the original closing credits...I'd love to see it back on USA or go to TV Land.....but hopefully we'll just get it on DVD soon.

probably something like WE, Goodlife or maybe Hallmark again.
I think the show is probably too old for USA, Lifetime (look how long they kept Laverne And Shirley) or Oxygen at this point.

I know! I know! Maybe FOL should be on The-N if Daria gets droped.

There is no TNN anymore, it's now Spike TV :)
I'd say it'd be great on WE, Oxygen, maybe even WGN(they air older sitcoms like Cosby Show, Happy Days and whatnot)
The-N ? No, it's geared towards tweens and teens as is Disney and I think FOL is too old of a show for both networks

I still have the TNN network and also Spike Network, they are 2 different networks in my area. I think FOL would be better off on TVLand or Lifetime or even USA, but on a time slot that I will be able to see it. School gets in the way with everything!!

TNN is now Spike TV and is a men's network, so FOL wouldn't fit there. TV Land would be a good home for it, IMO. Not a lot of people get THe-N (including me) so I wouldnt want it there, if it went on Disney Channel, Disney would edit it to death because Disney is a kids network and FOL isnt really a kids show, Lifetime is a good place for it, I doubt Nick@Nite will air it again, plsu they treat any show thats not Fresh Prince, Roseanne, and Full House like crap so that wouldnt be good....
I think TV Land is our best bet

I agree, plus the-N is alot like Disney Channel, and FOL def. wouldn't fit on either network, it's too old of a show for those networks, plus those are geared more towards tweens and teens

Exactly. Kids today just wouldn't respond to FOL if it were on The N. To them, FOL isn't "hip," and they wouldn't be able to identify with it because it's just so dated.

I don't care what network they put it on, just as long as they put this show back on the air!!!!!! The Facts of Life is one of my all-time favorite sitcoms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I learned that Harper49 is a young autistic boy. He didn't do anything that is banable. He just see things a certain way because of his autism.

I watched "shoplifting" on N@Niversary and it seems that N@N edited that episode to death!! And back in 2000 when it was airing I found out that they were skipping so many classic episodes just because they were some what "controversial". So N@N wouldn't be a good possibility either. I think TVLand would be good for FOL. I also wouldn't mind seeing it on The-N. If the-n aired FOL they wouldn't edit the episodes, they don't edit any of their other shows.
So the-n would be good, but the-n just isn't the kind of network that would air a show like fol. I would like seeing it on TVLand the most. We got to get together and email TVLand and tell them that we seriously want fol on their network, maybe theres a chance.

The-N would fit Fol on there!

Oxygen is the safest bet.
it's TOO OLD for The-N, their oldest show right now is Fresh Prince
Lifetime hasn't really had success with comedies unless they have Fran Drescher or The Golden Girls
probably too old for ABC Family
waaaaaaaay too old for TBS
not enough people get Goodwill
PAX is gone
TV Land has shown a lack of interest
right now it really sucks to find an outlet for an 80's show that isn't Cosby or Cheers

too bad you weren't on SO in 2000 when FOL was all over Nick. Kids who were too young to have first-run recollections of the show were in love with it on N@N.
Hell, look at The Brady Bunch, is there a show on TV that is more dated? yet it's transcended generations and even 13 year olds can sing you the theme song and tell you some of the classic quotes.
I think quality is the key, not "how old does it look". If 12 year olds in 2000 were able to fall in love with Jo, Blair, Tootie and Natalie for the first time, why would they be so much different in 2005?

Who are you kidding? N@N aired all the episodes of 'All In The Family' and now 'Roseanne', both shows that are way more "controversial" than 'Facts of Life'.
On topic, I believe Oxygen would be a good fit for FOL.

yes, but surprisingly, N@N refused to air some of the more "controversial" FOL episodes, such as Dope, The First Time, Front Page and some other ones.
It is kinda funny that Nick didn't mind touching Roseanne episodes about DJ masturbating and it being implied that David and Darlene had definately had sex, yet some of the FOL episodes wouldn't air. However, Nick hasn't aired "Roseambo" just yet

VERY well said, BuffySlayer79!!! I was around 15 in 2000, when I discovered FOL for the first time and fell in love with the show, storylines, and characters! Many of my friends, and those younger than me discovered it at that time as well! I think that if they re-aired it today in 2005, the fan base would grow too. It is one of those shows, like the Brady Bunch, I believe that can trasncend generations.
As of now, I don't care what network airs it, as long as they do, so I can see the show again! Watching "Shoplifting" on the N@Niversary for Nick at Nite only made me miss the show even more! :( :(
