ABC airs its Happy Days reunion Feb. 3. And it could be because of Housewives' huge success that CBS has hired former Fonzie Henry Winkler (who produced last year's Dallas reunion) to reassemble the cast of TV's original naughty cul-de-sac denizens for a Knots Landing get-together.
"I've already spoken with Ted Shackelford and Donna Mills," said Winkler, who will soon call John Travolta about a Welcome Back, Kotter special ABC wants Winkler to produce. Info: USA TODAY.

I don't get what Housewives' sucess has to do with this? I must be missing something.
This I look forward too. I love Knots Landing :)

Other than Housewives stars of Nicollette and Doug who were both on Knots Landing I can't think of any other reason.
Nicollette Sheridan, Doug Savant and Marcia Cross all appeared on Knots.
And I'm not surprised by this. DH is basically a much more comedic version of Knots, and it is a soap, so a KL reunion isn't much of a surprise. They just need to get out on DVD now.

I just loved Knots. Yes, it does need to be out on DVD. I look forward to the reunion, especially to see Don Murray. (Sid Fairgate) I read that they are having a lot of the originial players from the beginning of Knots, including Murray, Michelle Lee, Donna Mills, etc.
Entertainment Tonight will have a segment on it tonight, June 21. Check your local listings for times.
