Gilmore Girls/ American Idol

Who here thinks the ratings for GG will go down because of American Idol. I think they might because American Idol is more new and more people know more about it than GG. I hate the fact that they come on the same DAy and at the same time and they last the same ONE HOUR. I enjoy both of them so I am planning on taping one of them. I know they show re-runs during e summer of Gilmroe Girls but Tuesday nights at 8pm is my relaxing time and having a great laugh. What is your view on this "competition"?

With American Idol airing multiple episodes during the week, a few shows will suffer.

I don't care about Americam Idol. I'll watch Gilmore Girls.

I'm always torn between which of the two to watch. I ussually choose Gilmore girls though.

Actually, it is not the show's last season.

Alexis and Lauren both have contracts for a seventh season, AND ASP said herself that she wants for the series to end when Rory graduates from Yale. :)
