In the Stevie Wonder episode, when he's in the studio playing around with the kids voices on his synthesizer, he asks Theo what's the cool thing to say nowadays. Theo says something like "Jammin' on the Five" or "Jammin' on the One", I can't remember exactly. Since I was a kid I've always wondered, what the hell does this mean ? I've heard practically all the popular slang from the eighties, yet this never registered. Does anyone know ?

It was "Jammin' on the One"...but nobody I've ever talked to had any idea what that meant (did the writers "make it up" just for that episode?). Jeez, to this day I'm sure Stevie Wonder is still asking himself what the hell Theo was talking about

Well jamming would be a slam dunk and the "one" in basketball is the point guard. Maybe Michael Jordan dunked on Muggsy Bogues or something & Theo thought it was cool http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well Stevie was funny! j=j=j=j=jam!!
