How old were you when you saw that? I mean I was like 5 when I went and saw my first movie. If you were that age, wouldn't you be scared?

I was 4. I went to see it with my older brothers and sister. I only remember bits and pieces of it. I don't recall being scared or anything probably because my siblings were right there with me. When I got older and saw it on tv I asked my mom why she let me see a movie like that when I was so little. She said that she didn't remember ever letting me see the movie. Then my brothers spoke up and said that while they were getting ready to go see it I was crying and whining wanting to go with them so my mom told them to take me not realizing the kind of movie it was.

 I asked my mom that same question when she and my dad let me watch Who Framed Roger Rabbit? I mean I just recently saw that movie again, and it's not really a kids movie.

I saw Beauty and the Beast with my dad when I was three. Then we watched it again a couple weeks later with my cousins and my siblings. It's still my favorite animated Disney classic!

"Spaceballs", back in 1987. The second one I remember going to see in theaters was "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" in 1988.

I believe it was King Kong(The remake with Jeff Bridges. Not the original. :p)
I remember seeing "Mary Poppins" at Radio City music hall, (when Radio City still showed movies) back when I was probably four or five.

Did you know that King Kong was Adolf Hitler's favorite movie? (The original,
not the Jeff Bridges remake--unless they had it showing in Argentina!! ;) )

Oh yeah, I think the first movie I saw actually was Bambi. I was about 5 and I couldn't follow it because I was being picked on and harrassed by my brother and then-step-sister. :( I then saw it years later at the movie and really enjoyed it. I think I was about 12 or 13 then.

Oh God, I don't know. I went with my uncle and cousins all the time. I know it wasn't the first, but I remember seeing Casper in 1995 when I was 6, Muppet Treasure Island in 96 when I was 7. I can't think further back right now...
Star Trek II:The Wrath Of Khan in 1982.

My first movie I saw at the theatre since I was a baby was "The Small One". That brings back memories. It was my first experience with Disney. The movie came out since the time I was born. Here is the plot from Disney's A-Z Encyclopedia:
Ordered by his father to sell his old donkey, Small One, a Hebrew boy in ancient Israel takes the donkey to the Jerusalem market. Finding no buyers there for Small One, the boy is about to give up when he meets a kind man named Joseph. Joseph buys Small One and uses him to take his pregnant wife Mary to Bethlehem.
I love this movie in my entire life. The movie was short and it lasted about 30 minutes making Disney's the shortest featurette ever made. That was the first I saw in a theatre.

I remember that movie back as a youngster when I saw it in a theatre months after returning back to New York City from Puerto Rico. The movie was great and it was funny. It has a bunch of cameos like Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, Droopy plus a bunch of other great cameos. I know that one of the cameos did not appear in that movie are Popeye, Olive Oyl, Tom & Jerry, Casper, Little Audrey, Bluto, Mighty Mouse, Heckle & Jeckle and some others. That movie was funny, but I have it on both VHS and DVD. I was looking on my Roger Rabbit DVD that Mae Questel played Betty Boop was in that movie. It was the last time she did the voice for her in the movie. Her last movie she played without her cartoon voice was "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" in 1989. Back in the day, she usually played Olive Oyl and Little Audrey in a lot of Famous Studio cartoons from the 40's and 50's apart from Betty Boop. Sadly, she passed away back in 1998. I looked it on IMDb that the death year was January 4th, 1998. It means that last tuesday was the 7th year anniversary of Mae's death. RIP:(

My cinema teacher told me that when the movie was in theaters, they would put up these sophisticated speakers so that when an earthquake struck in the film, the sound would be amplified and it would cause a rumbling in the theater. That would be awesome if that were true but at the same time it could damage your hearing. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/eek.gif
