I like this show too.
My husband and I have been to several of his stand up shows. He is hilarious!

Rodney will be pre-empted on February 22, March 1, 8, and 15. A special 40 minute According to Jim will air from 9:20-10:00pm on the 22nd; NYPD Blue's final episode will air on March 1; a one hour all-new According to Jim will air on March 8; and an encore of According to Jim will air on March 15. As of now, Rodney is slated to return on March 22 for 6 straight weeks, for its final 6 episodes of the season. In May, ABC will either air George Lopez at 9:30 or double up on According to Jim.

I wonder if this means this show will be facing cancellation next year. They seem to be pre-empting it a lot lately. They are also removing it for May sweeps. Could this be a bad sign for longevity ?

Well, the March 8 and 15 pre-emptions is so that ABC can get a good lead-in for Blind Justice. ABC will air all 22 episodes this season of Rodney, but chances are not good for season two next fall.

I am not saying it will get cancelle, at all. I am just wondering if the network is falling out of love with this show if they are pre-empting it so much. Seems like they are liking to air two According to Jim's instead of Rodney.
