Lots of suspense... almost feels like I'm watching a spooky movie now(Bree just found out Rex wants a divorce and put onions in his salad).

I want to know who is in the toy chest, and who is responsible. I also want to know what Mike is up to (and who he works for).

The toy chest is found in about 3 weeks according to the episode guide. You'll find out then. :p
I have no idea what's up with Mike... the ending of him in the pilot is downright spooky.
The pilot is even better the second time around ;)
Yeah Bree was great, and Susan and the fire  I burst out laughing when Julie and Susan were talking about her sex life. Gabby mowing the lawn in her evening gown is priceless
Yeah I'm wondering what Mike's purpose is at Wisteria Lane

Even a repeat of DH was #1 for the entire night last night. With a 8.2/15 for the special 10pm airing.

Because everything else was in reruns and it loses miserably on a normal night.

So? It still was #1. It shows that DH's reruns can beat other reruns. And DH would never have that kind of number on a "normal night" -- and even if it did, 8.2/15 would be just as good as Law & Order: CI would do on original episodes.

That was my point. ;)

Stupid question how many million viewers is a 8.2 :)

13.1 million viewers:
ABC's special one-time-only 10 o'clock repeat airing of "Desperate Housewives" ranked a dominant No. 1 in its time period, outpacing second place CBS' (final hour of "Ocean's Eleven") by 1.7 million viewers (13.1 million vs. 11.4 million) and by 30% among Adults 18-49 (5.2/14 vs. 4.0/11).

That's very good considering it was a Day after Christmas. :)

Thanks :)
Not bad for a Sunday and for being a repeat, and that it was not in it's normal timeslot(other boards I went too people thought it wasn't on last night cause of the time slot change).

Oh goody! I can't wait for the body in the toy box to be explained.
I watched the pilot again today and I can't believe how much I missed (or didn't remember from the first time I watched). Somehow, I managed to tape DH on my new Tivo thing. Don't know how, but it was there today...along with all sorts of other things that managed to get taped (or whatever it's called on Tivo). I think we need to read the directions and find out how to operate the thing!

Tivo is great. You must have had Desperate Housewives or one of the actors on the show put in. It'll find every program they are in and record it, regardless of whether you want it to or not. You don't have to worry about missing anything then. :)
Preview for the next new episode(January 9th) shows a body being found as well. It was on last night during the closing credits.

Tivo is fun...It's taking a bit to fully understand what it can do, but it looks like it's going to do a lot! I programed in my favorite shows and characters and....poof...there's the list. This is neat. I still have the show saved (from last night)....I'll have to go back and watch the closing credits again. I must be getting old...I sure seem to miss these things the first time around. :)

It went to a commerical after the last scene where the 4 have found the letter Mary Alice got the day she died, then the closing credits rolled and so did the preview.

I went back and watched the closing (again), and there it was! It's going to get good...
