Les Moonves recently stated on Letterman that Two and a Half Men would inherit Everybody Loves Raymond's Time Slot next Fall 2005.

As long as they take 'Listen Up' off the air, I'll be happy.

I have read that although Listen Up is not doing the best in ratings, it will probably earn a second season due to the fact Everybody Loves Raymond is ending, plus with Center of the Universe cancelled and Yes, Dear likely to wrap up there five year run, CBS cannot afford to lose anymore comedies.

That's cool. I wonder what they will put in the 9:30 slot?
There's all kinds of rumors about a female-lead sitcom to counter Football. Stockard Channing is reportedly signed up to be in a CBS pilot.

Its probably the rumored counter to Desperate Housewives that is rumored for every network next fall.

Going into next year Two And A Half men will be the only top 20 sitcom on any of the networks. I hope CBS can find a great sitcom to pair with it.

No... it's a sitcom, not an hour-long drama. The only other option for CBS(besides the movie) on Sundays after Cold Case is if they pick up Football from ESPN.

That will be a good time slot for the show. I like all the shows on the Monday night line-up(including Listen Up) and hope they put something good in Two and half mens old time slot. :)

I like Two & A Half Men but either way 9PM or 9:30PM, it's a bad time for me since I'm watching 24 at that time so I normally tape it or "acquire" it off the net.
Personally this and Listen Up are the shows I like on Monday night and also I realized I like Yes,Dear after watching it in Syndication even though I have never seen it before that.

Wow, that's a big step for this show, hopefully it will bolster it's ratings and give it some respect. This is the most underrated show on the air, sharp writing, an interesting set-up. So much so that I keep forgetting to watch it, mostly because I barely watch tv for all the REALITY crap that cloggs the channels.
I pray the Sheen's marital problems won't send him reeling to the Bad Boy Bin again, cuz I'd hate to see a show like this suffer.

Two and a Half Men will move to the 9PM Eastern timeslot as of July 18, 2005. Everybody Loves Raymond (repeats) will shift to 8:30 Eastern as of July 18, 2005 until it ends its run in September.

Like Marc Cherry said in Arrested Development... "It's a satire"
