At 9 p.m., "Desperate Housewives" posted a 14.0/20 for ABC -- its lowest rating in a number of weeks but still enough to win the hour. "Survivor" finished with an 11.3/16 and highway worker Chris Daugherty winning the $1 million prize.

Thats still pretty good. Survivor is formidable competition.

That's very good. Beating Survivor(especially the finale) isn't easy.

but does that count the stations that aired DH early or later because of the Eagles game? i found out Philly wasnt the only ABC station to move DH to a different time in favor of the football game

That annoys me big time. Why should DH have to be moved for a night in favor of a sports program  Let the sports program air at a different time.

How though? Sporting events are LIVE. Anyway, ESPN has an agreement with sister ABC to air the Sunday night football games on ABC as well in the hometown of the teams playing. This Sunday it was in the DC area and Philly area. I think people in Philly got it at 7pm, which isn't too bad, plus it was heavily announced. The DC people got it after the game at 12am, but that wasn't announced much.

Not to worry, the NFL season is over in 2 weeks. No more Sunday night games after that in the playoffs.

I don't begrudge people their sports don't get me wrong, and it doesn't really affect me, but I still feel for the people who had to wait till midnight to see DH, which they shouldn't have too, 7pm isn't too bad though.

My Affiliate channel in Washington D.C. not only moved it until after midnight but about 7 minutes of the episode wasn't aired. The Washington Post filled viewers in to what they were missing. Thank God I have another affiliate.

I would have been pissed if that happened here, and I don't have another affiliate, just the one ABC Channel :(
