This just isn't fair. Especially to those greeters at the door. They work so hard to put a smile on your face.

"Just in time for the holiday shopping season, we're rolling back the hourly wages of workers in every department."
It wouldn't surprise me for a second if this was a real article.

When I worked at Walmart :barf: I made $7.24 an hour that's bad enough as it is.
Whenever I walk into a Walmart - which is rare - I see in the eyes of the employees the early to late stages of the planning of a mass suicide. I wonder if there are any comparitive stats on how many Walmart emplyees (past and recently present) have done themselves in, relative to the general public. I would sooner live under a bridge with a bottle of Ripple than work at Walmart.
Walmart employees eat their young.
Seriously, it is one of the worst companies you could work for. My father worked for K-mart corporation a few years ago, and we just kept on hearing about all the misery Walmart put upon all its employees. Just so sad. Don't ever take a job there. They'll demand your firstborn child.

I used to work there to and know first-hand experience. There is a manager who's supposed to be a "woman of God" for a church near my hometown but she has like a Dr Jeckell & Mr. Hyde personality. Walmart is under Hitler and Napoleanic rules there. The managers are well taken care of while the employees are layed out to dry.:mad::sad:

F**k Walmart. They fired me cause my boss told me i was too slow stockin the shelves. I was gettin paid $9 a hour cause i worked the overnight shift. They have a lot of foreigners workin for them which i know the managers love so they can pay them whatever they wanna pay them cause they know foreigners will work hard for sh*tty wages. Walmart managers know they can't pay americans any type of salary.

I forgot to mention when i was workin there, they had 2 asian guys & a asian woman that cleaned up the store during the overnight shift. Those asian people quit on them cause they had worked at Walmart a long time for free LOL. I didn't know about this until a co-worker of mine told me. I can't believe they were workin for free. I don't know how many years they were there but i heard they worked there a long time.

Me too. Thank GOD for Target.
Besides, at our Wal-Mart, I couldn't understand anything anyone said anyway...half the employees are Bosnian or something.

IMO foreigners are great.
It seems mundane spending time with those whose life expriences are close to your own.

One good thing about Wal-Mart. My mom was looking all over town for these Beverage Warmer plates (you set your coffee mug on it and it keeps it warm). Couldn't find the damn things anywhere. We finally drag ourselves to Wal-Mart, where not only did they have them, but they were only $2.50. I about fell over.

I will admit that is wonderful with the prices less and more variety and to be honest, I am glad I no longer work there anymore.
