I've been a BH fan since the 60's & have learned a pretty good bit by reading the postings here. I was reading about some folks favorite episodes & can't believe that nobody mentioned any of the episodes where the Clampets went to England. JB was gonna slay him a dragon. Hot Dog!! We's gonna have some dragon jowls tonight. Or when they all thought the butlers last name was a greeting. Haversham, or Faversham. They all came riding up the driveway shouting Haversham & waving. I recently went to England & used Haversham as a greeting a few times. The only people that knew what it meant were a couple of my co-workers.

They were all shouting,"Faversham!Faversham!"

A servent told Major-Domo Faversham,"They remember you,sir."

Faversham replied,"Yes,but they usualy refer to me as Major or Mr.Domo.They think Faversham is a greeting."

Good job Richard (I'm a Richard too). It took a while for you to research that one, but good job. Here's a trivia question for you: What was Jethro so excited to have for vittles after arriving at Castle Clampett?
