FOL #11 at TVShowsOnDVD.com!

I just checked TVShowsOnDVD.com and FOL has an Unreleased rank of 11. Most of the shows in the top 10 will have releases in early 2005, which will bump them off the list and give FOL a spot in the top ten. We could be seeing a release for FOL soon. If you haven't voted yet, now is the time to do it.

I've noticed that. I would really like to see The Facts of Life in the #10 spot, but in order to do that we must pass Roseanne by 47 more votes. I have nothing against the show Roseanne, in fact it's one of my favorite shows and I hope it stays in the top ten so that it can be released on DVD, but I think The Facts of Life has just as much of a right as everyone of those show that are in the top ten. I'm glad every one of those shows in the top 10, but I think it's time for some of those titles to be released on DVD, so that The Facts of Life can fill one of those places. Not because it will a better chance to be on DVD, but so that Sony recognizes that it needs a DVD release; and for that to happen I highly suggest everyone who hasn't voted for the show yet (and are a fan), to go vote for the show!

Actually there's only 1 show in the top 10 that has an actual release date: The Pretender, there's like two others that have had some release news, but nothing official, so once the Pretender is taken off the top 10 list, FOL will be bumped up :) Maybe that will help get Sony on the ball and release it on DVD aready

The Facts of Life is now ranked at #10 with a total of 2125 votes at TVShowsOnDVD.com under statistics, but for some reason when you go to vote for it, it is ranked at #11, this must mean that they just recently took off The Pretender and didn't update The Facts of Life stats. Just because it is #10 this dosen't mean that you should still not vote for it, our goal is to get it to #1.

Cool that's it at #10 now, that says alot that it's the only show in the top 10 from the 70's.

Things have changed since I looked to see if any of the shows in the top 10 were going to be released soon, the list was different, Charmed MacGyver and Full House were still on the list and now they have been bumped off. The Pretender was number 10 and didn't have any news of a release. This was a couple weeks ago when FOL was still listed in the 20's, things changed pretty fast. I've noticed that once a show gets in the top ten a release isn't far behind. Now that it is in the top 10 Sony should take notice.

Hi I am new here, but have browsed through the board a few times. First off I am the biggest FOL fan ever. Im only 23 but I literally grew up with the show. I remember being around 4 years old and watching the show. Then it stopped airing and when I was in 5th grade it started showing on USA. That's when I would record the show ALL the time. I was addicted to it, all day marathons, Christmas marathons it was great.

This is great about the ranking, as soon as I read this I went to the site and they are now ranked #10, right behind Roseanne. We all need to vote as much as we can to get the show even higher. It's a shame that FOL isnt out on DVD yet when lesser known shows like 227, Mork and Mindy, and even Northern Exposure have DVD's. FOL was a true classic from the 80's and it is a sin that it isnt out on DVD.

OMG, FOL just passed Roseanne? This is big, really big! They are really going to have to look at seriously giving FOL a release date now. Roseanne is practically a show that is gaurunteed to have a DVD out soon and FOL just passed them. We all need to keep voting, tell your friends, vote from other computers as I have been doing. We need to get FOL at #1 so we can all enjoy our FOL DVD's!!!!

I just went to tvshowsondvd.com and looks like Roseanne is back in the lead but by only 2 votes. And FOL is only 42 votes behind Wings. Come on people we all need to vote! FOL should defenitely be in front of Wings, that show sucked.

Click on the User's Options link on the naviagtion bar thingy. Then click on statistics and it will show you the top ten unreleased tv shows on the bottom right hand corner.

You do know you can only vote once? If you vote everyday it doesn't do any good, if you've already voted when you registered, then that's your vote, otherwise your just sending that one vote over and over :)

Scrubs should be taken off the list soon now that it has a release date, so all the shows will move up a rank :)

Call 1 (800) 262-2001 (I know it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get through if you don't have an account number) and you should be able to order 7 volumes on videotape! These episodes contain original and exclusive opening credits and songs, like the first episode, and MANY MANY deleted scenes that weren't shown on Nick-at-Nite or TV Land!

Did Columbia House ever release volumes 9 and 10? The man at Columbia House couldn't answer that question and he did tell me that the 'Boys' volume is no longer available (probably worth a lot of money right now on Ebay!)

Again, if you call Columbia House, and get through, you should be able to order the first 8 volumes of "The Facts of Life" series at a discounted price, except for the 'Boys'' volume.

While your on the phone, please ask how we can all request "The Facts of Life" to be released on DVD--Seasons 1 and 2! (I know there are a lot of Fans of "The Facts of Life" who like the final 4 seasons better than the first 4 seasons--who would probably prefer a 'Best of' selection).

Judging by the amount of hits "The Facts of Life Online" receives, and the INCREDIBLE top 10 polling on "TV on DVD" and "The Facts of Life" Commercial, one can hope that Sony/Columbia House will release "The Facts of Life" on DVD!

I don't know why sony don't release FOL on DVD. Of course I've also heard that Sony was being sued big time and has no choice but to stop selling major electronics like Playstation 2 and release crappy shows on DVD overtop of shows people really want. Man Sony really sucks these days.

Shows that have been suspended because of this type of thing: Boy Meets World(twice), Lois and Clark, I think Radio Free Roscoe was for a long time.

WINGS AIRS IN RERUNS. It's been on TV Land recently and is returning to N@N. Granted, 3 am isn't the most ideal time slot, but at least it airs. It's been almost 4 years since FOL left Nick. So FOL fans have more hunger to see their show than Wings fans do, because you can always tape the N@N episodes to tie you over until DVD, FOL fans don't have anything except 2 episodes (out of 209 produced) coming on N@N and TV Land in June.

Great point you bring up, my hunger to see FOL again is undying. At least Wings fans have had TVLAND and now N@N once again. FOL get's no respect.

I did tape a handful of episodes on N@N, but I started too late, Nick scrapped the show a few weeks later, so I have a few 83-84 shows, but it's nowhere enough to satisfy my hunger.

Sony sucks, pure and simple. I've heard that there's a good shot we'll see DS season 2, but Sony will probably just release one season a year. DS sold well enough to merit another DVD, but it's not a seller along the lines of King Of Queens or Seinfeld. I hope to god when Sony decides to do FOL on DVD, they will bundle season 1 and 2 together, like they've done with other shows. Therefore if we wait a really long time for season 3, we still have some Jo episodes to tie us over, while I wouldn't be too excited just to own season 1.

I havent been on the site lately, and what a surprise when I checked back. My show finally did it! I wanted to bad for us to pass up Wings, only because for the longest times Wings was always ahead of FOL, even 100 of votes ahead at a time. I love FOL, this is my show. I am so proud, keep them votes coming you guys only 102 votes behind The Wonder Years, make that show the next victim!

I was thinking the same thing. Its really not worth getting the show suspended over. I mean you get it suspended more than twice and Gord takes the show off permanently and no one can vote for it all after that

I remember Lois And Clark got suspended at one point, as did MacGyver, considering both shows had a huge number of people looking forward to getting it on DVD, why did they single those out as "multiple accounts"? I don't know Gord has a way to know if people are registering multiple accounts, maybe IP addresses? It's supposed to be one account per household, even if you, your brother and sister all want the same show on DVD.

Boy Meets World got suspended twice as well. Radio Free Roscoe did too. I don't know how he can tell though

What did I say that makes it seem like I am taking advantage of the system? I admit I did encourage people to vote multiple times but then I found out the show would get suspended and I quickly stopped. I dont want the show to get suspended. I merely have done everything in my power to encourage all my online friends to go vote by having the link to the voting website on my signatures in various websites and apparetnly it's working. The show hasnt gotten suspended so chill. I am not voting multiple times.
