What is your all-time favorite episode of The Beverly Hillbillies and why?
My favorite episode is the one with Flatt & Scruggs. Maybe because I'm from Nashville (though I'm not a big fan of country music). I like the fact that they think that one of them's wife can't sing just because she doesn't sing country songs.
I also like the episodes where Jethro thinks he's Robin Hood and his hippie friends think that Granny "smokes" crawdads.

"The Thanksgiving Spirit" is my all time favorite episode. The most obvious reason is that all three of the rural comedy shows are on. Petticoat Junction, Green Acres and Beverly Hillbillies cast members interacted on this episode. My second reason is that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it gives the feeling of family. Therefore I love most programs that are geared toward this holiday. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

My favorite episodes are Jed Cuts the Family Tree(with Pricilla Rolfe-Alden-Smith-Standish),Granny vs. the Weather Bureau(Beetles can be more predictable than Satellites),and Elly at the Movies(where she met, fell for and kissed Dash Riprock).

I personally like "Clampett-a-Go-G0", the
one where Sheldon Epps crashes his car, and
calls Ellie a "chick" (the Clampetts think
he out of his "gourd", and seeing things)....
I like the beatnik ways Epps talks, like when
he calls money "gumballs" and Jethro "Clyde"...."money bunny", wants another sniff of Granny's "airplane glue",
etc....The writers came up with some of the
funniest slang I've ever heard on a TV show
in this one (and the other two with "Shelly
Baby") and, to me, this was one of the best...I also like any episode with Granny
and Mrs. Drysdale fight....one of them always
ends up in the cement pond....
My favorite episode was in the earlier years when they were sued for a phony whiplash injury. The Clampetts in the court room was hysterical.

I liked when Jethro tried to be a Double-Naught spy for the first time.I also liked when Mr.Drysdale tried to explain that their money wasn't actualy in the bank. ("You do have $50,000,000.00 in case-but it isn't,'cash,'cash. It's invested.I have it spread out in stocks,bonds,loans,primaries-")
