TV Land's Prayers Are Answered!

Highway to Heaven Airing Daily on Network

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Jan. 14 -- TV Land has added Highway
to Heaven -- the acclaimed NBC series created by Michael Landon -- to the
network's roster of hit programming. The drama, starring Landon as an angel
and Victor French as an ex-cop, premiered on the network with a week-long
marathon on January 10. It currently airs on TV Land Monday-Friday at 3 p.m.
and daily at 8 p.m.
"Highway to Heaven truly represents a program that extols the values of
love, respect and kindness," states Larry W. Jones, President, TV Land and
Nick at Nite. "It's a series that our viewers have long been asking for us to
air, and we are happy that it has finally been added to our broad mix of
programming."
The series aired from 1984 to 1989 and starred Michael Landon as Jonathan
Smith, who isn't the average helpful handyman. As an angel with a mission from
God, he, accompanied by ex-cop Mark Gordon (Victor French), whose troubled
life Jonathan once helped turn around, travels the world, guiding the lost and
suffering back. The two try to bring love and understanding into others' lives
not through angelic powers but through persuasion and example. Each person
they affect -- young and old, rich and poor -- learns about coping with life
from the mild-mannered Jonathan and the gruff Mark.

I'm surprised noone has really commented on it yet. It's such a great show and I'm glad it's back. I make sure I watch it as much as I can. What a great team these two were and a show that makes people feel good..at least it makes me feel good :)

Hope you're all enjoying it.
