No wonder I couldn't name number 6... that was a trick question. I should have paid attention to the wording because it did say "player" "reach first" rather than "batter" and I did take notice of that for a brief moment. But it is my opinion that a pinch hitter does not technically "reach" first base. Rather, he "takes the places of" the batter who reached first by any of the 8 ways. ;)
