Let's take two show like Sanford and Son and Three's Company and if the spinoffs of these two shows were promoted right along with the parent show, maybe the spinoff gets sold. Example, If you went to a store to buy your DVD, on the shelf next to Sanford and Son would be another set of DVD's with the character Grady on the front cover which would be the Grady spinoff. Or another set of DVD's next to S&S with Aunt Esther on the front Cover which would be the Sanford Arms Spinoff. I'm these spinoffs would be hard to ignore since it's showing tv fans it's a connection between both shows. Or if you purchased on amazon and put Sanford and Son in the Search box not only would S&S come up but the Grady DVD's or Sanford Arms would too. Same Thing for Three's Company. a set of Ropers DVD's on the Shelf with Norman Fell and Audrey Lindsey on front cover or Ropers coming up also when you put TC in the amazon search box. Anyone think this type of promtion would help the Sales of the short-lived spinoffs?
