My favorite episode thus far, although the best line is still from last week.

Highlights:
- Susan's speech to Ms. Huber
- The whole cable guy storyline
- Gabrielle making the maid use a sock from now on, and making the gardener mow the lawn in his socks
- Bree taking down her son's door

I was really glad that the Ms. Huber blackmail storyline ended this episode.... I was ready to kill her.

My mouth dropped open when she busted his door in, I totally wasn't expecting that

Me too, I hate Mrs. Huber, I hope she rots in hell, stupid bitch  I love that Susan and her daughter got the measuring cup back, obviously Mrs. Huber isn't very bright

When Bree went to the stripclub to get her son was the best part of the whole show IMO, that was great

Yeah the thing with Gabrielle and the socks was great too, very creative ;)

Having the cable guy be gay and making Carlos say "you think you can sleep with anyone you want to?" was hysterical.

Carlos - "You're gay??"
Cable Guy - "Isn't that why you're doing this?"

 Yeah right after he did that I was thinking, he's gay, I knew that's what was gonna happen LOL

I wonder if Mrs. Huber is the one who sent Mary Alice the note?

Great episode yet again!! The funniest thing was when we saw the news report about a gay man being assaulted! I started bursting out laughing!!

Every character is so unique on this show. Very addicting.

So I guess that who was going to turn out to be gay. Quite a cop-out. I still love the show, but it could have been much more interesting if one of the main male characters turned out to be gay.

I think Bree's on the egde of cracking. When she kicked in the door, after I finished laughing hysterically, I got the hint that she was on the verge of snapping.

She actually seemed semi-human when talking with her son.
She's still a psycho and gets the complete blame for ruining the marriage.... but she seemed human for a moment or two.

Very good moments in this one.

I also liked the part when Bree started to lecture her son in the strip bar, and that other guy complained because she was killing the mood.

Yeah she seemed very vulnerable, but IMO she doesn't get all the blame for the marriage being over, it really does take 2 to ruin a marriage, that would be like saying Gabrielle is to blame if her marriage ends, but that wouldn't be true either. It takes two to make a marriage work, right now we're only seeing one side of it, we don't know how great of a husband Bree's husband was.

But Gabrielle's situation is different, he's a complete control freak with a big head.

From what we have seen so far, Bree gets the complete blame for the marriage being ruined. Maybe we'll learn more about it (undoubtedly), but for now.... Bree gets all the blame.

I'm with you Barwars, but I think there's alot more to the story than what we know right now. Knowing this show, I'm sure there is.

I loved the scenes between Mrs. Whatsherename and Susan, especially Susan's final rant to her about hating her guts. When she said "Good evening," the look on the other woman's face was priceless.

Also great was the scenes between Carlos and the gay guy- and the final scene where it shows up on the news. Particularly funny was right after Carlos knocked him down, then looked up and saw posters of a man's chest and some play.

Bree definitely seems to have a very serious inferiority complex. This constant need to be perfect spelled that out from the beginning.

Mr. Salis is a *****. I would not be the least bit surprised if he killed somebody by the end of the season.

Just curious, is there a Mr. Huber? Definitely would feel for him, seems like CSI has nothing on his nosy wife.

I think she's a widow. She has too much time on her hands to have a husband I think.

The scene when Susan tells her off at the end is priceless. I love it. I just hope she remedies things with Mike. I can't wait for them to get together -- they're a hot couple....

Last night's episode was very good. LOL@that woman who has the 2 boys who painted that girl's face & arms blue hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Bree talkin to her son at the strip club was funny. I can't believe Gabrielle's husband believed her story about the maid cleans with socks hahahahahahahaha. Gabrielle had the gardener cuttin the grass with flip flops on LOL. Bree needs to do somethin to her hair cause that hairstyle looks like the style that women wore in the 50's LOL. Terri Hatcher is so cute. It doesn't seem like she's aged at all. Did ya'll know her daughter on the show used to play on Boston Public? She was the one who was very smart.

“Not even the World Series could make a dent in ABC's flourishing freshman hit "Desperate Housewives," but Game Two between the Red Sox and Cardinals still yielded big ratings for FOX, turning the Sunday ratings tide.”

“The Red Sox victory gave FOX a 14.4/20 in the 9 p.m. hour, edging the 13.3/19 for ABC's "Desperate Housewives," which actually ranked as the night's most watched show among adults 18-49. NBC moved up to third with the 7.9/11 for "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." On ABC, the telefilm "The Dead Will Tell" drooped to fourth in its first hour, while on The WB, a second episode of "Jack & Bobby" did only a 1.1/1.”

Ratings information is taken from fast national data. All numbers are preliminary and subject to change, particularly in the case of live events.

They made a mistake with that, obviously. That movie was on CBS.

22 million viewers- beating the premiere (seems that word is getting around) and a 9.7/23 in adults 18-49, making it the second highest rated telecast of the week after the Sox/Yank's Game 7, even beating out AN ORIGINAL "CSI" (9.5/22). This is the smash hit of the season and so far shows no signs of slowing down. At the office today, 6 of us graduate students, who don't watch alot of tv, spent 30 minutes talking about the episode and dishing our theories. It feels just like the peak of Melrose all over again, only better.

Sunday's episode was good. I thought that was so messed up for Carlos to go over and beat up the cable guy. His sketch appearing on the news was funny because obviously you could tell it was him and Gabrielle didn't say anything.

Maybe it's just me, but I noticed the third son of Lynette wasn't on there. It was just the twins. When the show first started, I didn't see the point in her having a third son because the twins and the baby were a handful already.

I thought Lynette had triplets. The 3 boys all looked alike, height hair coloring etc, but in the last episode where two painted a class mate it was established she had twin boys.
I like Lynette story line to Edie Britts. Tugging over one man wears me out. Let susan go with Mike. I am surprised that the burnt measuring cup wasn't taken as evidence. Maybe Mrs Huber got before the fireman came. It seemed Edie would have noticed if wasn't hers and questions would arise. Mrs Huber had spunk going into a burning house. The marriage counciler is a hoot too. I wonder how Bree will put the tape back she took from his office.
