There's this white girl who told my brother that i tried to talk to her & i asked her for her phone number. She works at a Shell gas station that i go to regularly to make sure cigarette signs are up cause i'm a cigarette merchandiser. When my brother told me this yesterday, i was mad at this girl cause i feel like if she got somethin to say to me, say it to my face instead of to my brother. He told me that he was embarrassed that she told him some stuff about me trying to holla at her. She obviously didn't like my conversation or somethin i said to her but if that's the case, why did she give me her number? One time i called her at work & i asked her for her phone number cause i had lost it & she put me on hold for a long time so i just hung up the phone. There's been times where i have called her & she would never answer. She did answer the phone one time to talk to me. When i go to Shell gas station from now on where she works, i ain't got nothin to say to her.

Were you trying to pick her up? Maybe she doesn't like you and was just trying to let you down easy by going through your brother.

Girls send some of the weirdest signals. One called me this summer, and told me I should be up at her house hanging out with her rather than being on this canoe trip I was on. So I called her the next day, but she was busy and said she'd call me back. But somehow she conveniently "forgot." WTF is up with that?

I have to agree. Everytime you post something you always refer to people according to their color. What's the diffrence if the girl was white or black? She's a girl either way.

Ya'll are getting all uptight over the way he write??? Lighten up a little. He's just trying to tell his story the way he does. Not everyone can be as proper in english as some of you think you are. And I white and I'm not offended by what he said. It's just the way he sees thing.

Hey newbie, I don't think you've been here long enough to know that Isiah has an extreme fixation on race. It is of no importance to this story, yet he has quite the habit of bringing it up unnecessarily and sometimes prejudicially.

Isiahthomas, better luck next time with the next female. The best thing for you to do is just move on, and it sounds like that is what you are doing.

First of all, Casey, before you jump on me for saying what I said about "BUSH 2004!" I suggest you use the search function to find OU812's posts. I see that you've only been here since September 21 (not knocking you for being a newbie), so unless you were lurking, you're not seeing things in the historical context in which they should be viewed.

OU812 gets his jollies by trying to piss me off. Since he got banned, I've received a barrage of mean-spirited--albeit idiotic--PMs from him under newly-registered screen names, as well as flaming public replies to my posts on the boards from him.

So to be honest, that avatar thing really came as no surprise.

No I do not know the history around here but has anyone been able to prove that this is that guy??? I see that there are two sides on political views. Could this be weighing in on the hostility towards him?? And what about my other two examples??? You just having a bad day???

I don't think anyone should be accused of being another banned person. We certainly all have our suspicions, but it's bad form to call someone out publicly.

I'm going to ask TJ to check things out. It's not always possible with all ISP addresses.

My brother is black for the person who asked. This is the third complaint that my brother has gotten from women who work at a store that i visit to make sure the cigarette signs are up. These women are tellin my brother that i must have a lame conversation or i'm saying something to them that they don't like which i never say anything bad to women when i talk to them. The thing that pisses me off is that if a woman has something to say about me, say it to my face. What they gotta tell my brother for? I'm sorry ya'll if i keep generalizing people cause all people have issues so it isn't just black women i'm mad at, it's ignorant women who have a problem with me that i'm mad at. It's so hard for me to deal with women cause of the silly ass games that they play so from now on, i'm just gonna keep my mouth shut & not speak to women at all when i go in these stores to make sure the cigarette signs are up. On the other hand it's hard for me not to approach women & not to be bothered with them cause i like attractive women & their bodies & sex. It's just that they get on my nerves always trying to use me & play games cause i've dealt with so many women like that. I used to have a good woman & she was black but she had 3 daughters & i ended up breakin up with her cause she had too many kids but now when i look back on that relationship, i realize she's the best thing that happened to me cause she was very nice to me & she never played games. She also told me a few times that she loved me which i never had a woman tell me that before. She even cried when i broke up with her & now i feel bad about that. I wish i had her phone number so i could call her & see how she's doing cause i haven't talked to her in a long time.

wow she sounds messed up... I dont blame you that girls are confusing i mean if the girl didnt want to talk to you why did she even give her your number ? That don't make since. When a girl gives a phone number to a guy means they like them or wants to talk to them, and I think it was wrong of her to tell your brother about your conversation with her if she had a problem with it or what you said she should have came to u about it instad of him and just say hey listen then go from there. By she putting you on hold for along time means there something wrong with her .. or she hung up on u eaither or ! or just didnt want to get back with u. .. Next time you talk to her at the gas station just ask her why shes acting the way she is. let me know how things go...

I ain't got nothin to say to her. Only thing i'm gonna say to her when i go to Shell gas station is hi & that's it cause if i was to ask her about why is she tellin my brother about our conversation, then she's gonna lie about it & say i don't know what your talkin about. Then i'm gonna end up gettin loud with her & she would probably complain to my supervisor so i'm not gonna say nothin to her about that. She's probably gonna figure out though if i'm not speakin to her that much that i must've found out what she told my brother. There's a black woman who i talk to when i go to this grocery store to put up cigarette signs that i'm trying to take out on a date. Now she doesn't call me that much but she gave me her phone number. I've been to her apartment before to watch movies. I asked her about massaging her feet & she told me no because she said her toes aren't done. So she asked me could i give her some money to get her toes done since i like feet. I said i'll think about it but what i'm trying to say is that she called me at home one time tellin me that my sales rep for my cigarette job came in the store & the woman i'm talkin to noticed that my sales rep had hiccies on her neck. So she asked the sales rep about her hiccies & i'm saying to myself, why is she tellin me about this cause i don't care. She calls me for somethin stupid like that but when i want to take her out, she ain't got time for that. This is why i posted this topic to say how women are a trip.

That's an interesting point, but anyone can read these boards for months without registering nor posting and "get to know" people here pretty well. So someone can be a "newbie" in terms of post counts but an Old Sage to Sitcoms online. :wave: And he does bring up race, and sex an awful lot.
