Did anything related to Moonlighting catch your eye?

For example, on the Moonlighting DVD, it always interested me that a pic of Cybill wearing a sweater was used (the one when she is hanging from the clock). It made me think -- whose sweater was it -- it looks like a man's sweater -- was it Bruce's?
It's just that there were probably hundreds of still shots taken and yet they used a pic that wasn't in the pilot. Anyway, that's the kind of thing that I mean. Did you find anything that interested you enough to go "hmmmnn"?

Things that made me go hmmmmm.........

The shavingcreme on David's beard on Witness, one shot it's on his face and another scene it's gone, than it's suddenly on again.
I think it was weird that no editor saw it when they were making this episode.
It was the same with Dave's boxers in I'm Curious... Maddie, one minute you see the legopening standing up and the other minute it's down and then it's up again, looks weird.....
And Maddie screaming Bruuuuuuuuce still makes me go mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

oh yeah, I noticed the shavingcream too. And with the episode "Atomic Shakespeare" when he ate that pig (?) he had something hanging in his beard, but then it was gone and then it came back again. It made me go HUH?

I thought I was going mad and imagining the boxer shorts in 'I am curious...Maddie', Taz. I thought I was looking way too closely or something!!! :D

I kind of was not looking for bloopers in this thread. Maybe we can have a separate bloopers thread. I was looking for things that made you think "Why??????????".

I don't think putting a pic on the DVD would have been a blooper. It's not that they didn't have many pics to choose from (I assume that there were probably hundreds), or that there was a time constraint as when Moonlighting was actually being filmed/taped. Time constraints usually result in lots of editing bloopers.

They didn't even pick pics from the pilot on the DVD - they chose that great pic from I Am Curious, Maddie as one of the main pics on the DVD (and I think it was a terrific choice, but it had nothing to do with the pilot).

Another example was also from I Am Curious Maddie when I swear I heard a "Bruuuuuuuuuce" yelled out. That's the kind of stuff I meant.

Not sure if this is the kind of thing you mean, but I always wondered what in the world happened to Cybill's hair in the opening scene of 'Somwhere Under the Rainbow'? I know Cybill's hairstyle changed drastically through the show, but in that scene it looks so limp and flat! It's the only scene of the whole show I ever thought that. Were they just too rushed to do her hair that day?

I always liked it when her hair was flat, just like in the pilot, it's very natural and not so fluffed up.
I also liked her hair in the 5th season....

Here is an oddity to me....

In Read the Mind, See the Movie.... David is driving this red sports car when they escape from the jump in the pool off the roof....

Now Maddie took both the porsches back in the Pilot and all we knew about was her BMW.... where did this red car come from???

Okay, I'm wondering about something in the Pilot.

When David is saving Maddie (at the end of the episode) and Maddie has to crawl over him, does she spit on Bruce?

Cybill makes a spitting sound LOL

I'm full of questions lately, aren't I.

Well another scene from the Pilot.

Maddie and David walk into the bar after they found that stiff in the back of Maddie her car.

David walks in yelling "We are this far away from..."

Maddie "DYING!" :mumble:

and no one in the bar reacts on it. They just keep going on with whatever they where doing. They don't even look their way.

Aren't they surprised or something like that?!?!?!

If someone walked in like that I would at least look up.

Maybe in the kind of bar they went into that kind of thing is quite usual. I would think they would look up though cause it would NOT be usual to have a beautiful and classy lady in the bar

Now this stuff DEFINITELY INTRUGUES ME:

On BW.com, someone asked him which character he has played is the closest to his own. His answer was NOT David Addison -- it was James Urbanski from Mortal Thoughts.

NOW THAT'S VERY INTERESTING.

Taz, any thoughts? or anybody else out there in BW lala land?

MulberryGal

Yep, I saw that Kis. Confused me. I thought that character was a rapist and rather evil? I wonder whether he's joking or whether he sees something in the character that we don't?! :o

It was interesting that someone who has actually met B reckoned they could still see something of the David Addison in him tho... :D

There's nobody who knows his characters better than the man himself.
MAybe he sees something in James that applies to Bruce.
I didn't like James, but Bruce played him very well.
But to me he will always be David Addison.
That's Bruce Willis to me, when he speaks and laughs I see only David Addison.

me too, I'll keep this in mind everytime I talk to him.

I first thought Cybill was a bit like Maddie. She is...a little, little, little, little bit. :p

Ofcourse that's why she played her so well!;)

Did you notice this "co-inkydink"?

BW is on the cover of People Magazine this week posing with a dog and is near water.

Do you all remember when Cybill was on the cover of US (I think or maybe it was People) when she also posed with a dog -- and she was also near water. She also appeared with a dog on the cover of Hello Magazine.

These two definitely seem to love their animals. Most other stars concentrate on promoting themselves only.

It reminds me of some lines from The Last Boyscout (paraphrased maybe): "I was lonely." "Get a dog."

Another "co-inkydink" this past week:

BW appeared in a towel on Conan O'Brien last week.

Cybill also appeared in a towel on a talk show -- she came out clad only in a towel on David Letterman.

How many people have appeared on talk shows in towels? NOT TOO MANY.

Oh and another thing, did you notice Bruce wears Cowboy boots in the Pilot? LOL:D

The first time I saw that he was wearing boots, the thing that came to my mind is that he was intimidated by Cybill's height. I am just guessing of course.

Maybe the producers/director thought that BW should appear much taller then Cybill?!? It's interesting that later in Moonlighting, they both appear barefoot in many episodes.

She does come across as larger than life. She is tall (5'9" I think) and big boned (for a model) -- didn't Bruce call her The Big Blonde"? I am not putting her down -- she is very impressive but she is taller than many actresses.

In many interviews, writers have written over and over again that Bruce is much larger then they imagined him to be. I think it was because Cybill was so tall that Bruce appeared to be smaller, but in reality, he is a pretty impressive man. Am I making any sense?

Sorry -- I made a mistake. BW is IN the magazine with a dog, not on the cover.

Question for all: What is a "cyberfart"? I have no idea what it is, and I see it all the time on the boards.

I think this is what she is referring to:

BW made a reference once on his site to being naked, wearing cowboy boots, and being covered in vaseline and goldfish crackers -- he was talking online at the time!!!
